What do you mean you can't login?
You should move this to meta if you talking about bitcoin account but if not related to forum account then tell us more about your case.

It seems you are being hacked and changing your email. The problem is how they exactly change the email without accessing your email?

I am asking because once the email address is changed, the old email address receives an email with a link that works for 14 days and allows locking the account.

To change the email address associated with your account, you don't need access to your old email address. All you need is your forum login credentials.

As far as I understand, Road Runner, a brand linked to Time Warner Cable, do a domain change when it started using the TWC brand, probably the OP lost your account password and now can not even recover the password because they no longer have access to the email registered to the account here on Bitcointalk (with Road Runner domain).

I do not know when this change started happening, but probably the OP should had a good amount time of transition to make the necessary changes, or am I wrong?

Anyway... I believe this is not exactly a big problem if the OP still has access to some wallet address previously published here, it would be possible to recover access to the account in the same way as someone who loses their account password.

You can visit BPIP site and type your account username.

At the right side you will see "Security/Moderator Log", you can see a list of security log there.

If you have a Bitcoin staked address or a staked PGP signature, you can sign a message from it again, and use it as one of proofs for account recovery.

When you register your Bitcointalk account using a roadrunner domain, the account is recorded on the forum as using roadrunner, even if your provider rebrand to roadwalker, you can still log in using roadrunner. That is as far as I know, please correct me if I'm wrong.

So, the real issue is your memory bros. Try to remember your account password, because you can actually still log in using the same credentials, or you can follow the recovery advice provided by other users in this thread.

OP, just state the username in question. Have you actually lost access completely and are trying to use the recovery method via an email address with a rebranded domain with no inbox forwarding in place?

Yes, that's correct; the forum doesn't even recognize the new domain. And at this point, I'm confused about which site account is actually the issue. An email address isn't a critical login credential on this forum, it can simply be changed to something random.

Sorry to lay this here but is a bit confusing, you own your email and it have been in your possession for a longer duration than we can say and now you are saying your provider changed it for you? If that is possible why can't you change it back before getting to this difficult situation you find yourself in? Something is not adding up for me because you made it seem like your provider have been in control of your email without you knowing and since it affected your logging in maybe to the forum it piqued your curiosity which made you open this thread and looking for solutions, is some how to me, how long have you been making use of this email of yours before your provider's decision happened?

Are you using the correct sign-in portal? According to what I found, Roadrunner is a defunct service and all their users were migrated to Spectrum Webmail. You should be able to login with your old credentials at spectrum.net

If you cannot login, maybe Spectrum deleted your account due to inactivity. That is the problem with using your ISP’s email service. The only way to recover your Bitcointalk account then would be going through the account recovery process which involves proving ownership over an address associated with your account.

You didn’t explain your problem very well so I’m not sure how useful this information will be.

The team can still help him recover the account even if he is not able to log in currently and access to the older email address is impossibile. Let him write to the team that helps recover accounts using the new email address but should clearly state all the reasons for his issues. Adding a sign bitcoin message using abitcoin address that was staked or is linked to his old forum account will be an added advantage.

I instead think that the service providers themselves were supposed to do the migration themselves knowing that not everyone follow up email newsletters.

Since they got a new extension, it would have been right to move the whole data base to the new extension such that on the new domain, anyone can login with the old credentials.

Hello thank you for reply. I opened my bitcoin acc. 8-9 years ago with 48.00 .Never been back since. Iam 70 yrs old and when roadrunner changed to TMC didnt even cross my mind to react. the 40.00 i basicly wrote off. But now i read that 40.00 could now be worth a good sum of money.So i try to sign in on bit coin emailaddress cant forget that password im kinda old and stupid so i allways use same password. But when itry to sign in it says wrong pw i cant reset or anything else because of the roadrunner .i hope i explained this clearly as i said im kinda old stiill one  hell of a motorcycle mechanic but computers not so much .thanks again

Here's your main problem: this isn't a Bitcoin exchange. There's no way to deposit Bitcoin on this website, and this website doesn't hold your Bitcoin or dollars for you. You must be thinking of a different site.

Okay, so we are not talking about your forum password, but the wallet site, right?
Then we need to move the topic again

First, it would be good for you to say which site you lost the password, but I will tell you right away: try to recover the password by entering your old email (@roadrunner.com), then check inbox of your new email (@twc.com)... it could be that Time Warner Cable is still forwarding the old emails to the new one. If it works, you will receive an email to change the password.

Or is the lost password for your email, and the bBitcoins are saved inside it?

So far I understand your provider changed your mail address, especially the email domain. So unless you receive mail on the old email address, then you can’t reset the forum account. It would be easy to recover your account if you have a staked address or old address posted on the forum.

Write to the account recovery team with the details; you have to convince them to prove you are the real owner of the account. It will be hard to recover your account unless you can prove everything.

I feel like you missed OP's second post.
It's not clear what exactly OP is talking about, but it seems that they are talking about another website where they have some Bitcoin. They don't seem to be talking about their forum account at all.
