• Get a quick summary of current mempool fees and recommendations;
• Set notifications for fee rate target;
• Receive transaction confirmation notifications (up to 3 TXIDs per user);

Data updates every minute, so the maximum notification delay is no more than 59 secs (barring issues with the mempool.space API endpoint).

What data is collected:

• Telegram UserID (naturally);
• TXIDs (optional);
• Wallet addresses (optional).

That’s all.

Project background:
I actually started developing this bot 2 years ago with multi-coin support (limited to fee recommendation alerts only), but I discontinued it because some API endpoints stopped working reliably (for free subs, hahaa) and altcoin fees tended to remain stable. Later, I came across information that led to this thread, prompting me to fill that gap and restructure my existing bot code to focus exclusively on the Bitcoin community.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

According to the bot, it only monitors incoming transactions for addresses, so it'd be nice to have another option that only monitors outgoing transactions.

Thanks, that first suggestion really opened my mind.
I'll note it down for future updrades; I'm currently working on another feature for the bot.

For now, there is no limit on the number of notifications for capturing incoming transactions (unconfirmed); the only limits are a maximum of three addresses per user and the option to enable notifications for unconfirmed TXids. I might relax these limitations in the future. I need to test how to handle high request volumes, considering mempool API limits and the fact that I'm running this on a cheap server, .

since it all hangs on one mempool.space endpoint, id show a small "data is stale" note when it fails. otherwise a missed alert looks exactly like nothing happened, and for someone watching a cold wallet thats the worst case

@RGBTC, I haven't used your bot yet, but judging from the screenshots you have provided, I would like to request some new features/suggestion.

1. Add both Incoming and Outgoing transaction notification (Right now I can only see the incoming one). Any transaction that goes in or out - the owner should be notified.
2. Also include the USD value of the amount. Reading the BTC amount can be confusing at times. Example: Amount: 0.01 BTC - $85 - at the time of the event.
3. If possible also add a Total Balance at each incoming/outgoing transactions.
4. Make the TXID clickable and redirect it to a reputable blockchain explorer (for quickly checking the transaction status).
