I am Dimitri, a solo developer in France. I wrote CryptoBot Pro and I sell it. This is my own thread, so read everything below as an ad with numbers attached.
WHAT IT IS
A desktop application that runs a spot grid on one pair, BTC/USDC (BTC/USDT on Aster). Electron interface, Go engine, both on your own machine. No backend, no account to create. Your API keys sit in a config file on your disk. Create the key with trade permission and withdrawal disabled, the bot never needs withdrawal. Two things leave your machine: the API calls to your exchange, signed with your own key, and the licence check to Stripe. There is no server of mine in between, and no account to create with me.
HOW THE STRATEGY WORKS
One rule. The bot places a limit buy under the market. When that buy fills, the next update places a sell above the buy price. When the sell fills, the cycle closes and the spread minus fees is realized. No indicators, no signals, no prediction, no leverage, no shorts, no futures.
THE CATCH, WRITTEN OUT
A cycle only closes when its sell fills above its buy. A losing position is never sold at a loss, it stays open. So if BTC leaves the range through the bottom, the bot keeps buying on the way down, the cycles go quiet, and you hold spot BTC bought higher until price comes back. That is the real risk here: patience, and capital parked in BTC. It does not protect you from a bear market. There is no liquidation, because there is no leverage anywhere in this.
MY OWN RESULTS
Real money, my money, net of real exchange fees. Figures as of 22 September 2026.
3,732 closed cycles since 19 December 2025, last one on 21 September 2026, so 276 days.
+413.36 USDC net. 472.40 gross, 59.04 paid in fees, which is 12.5% of gross.
0.1108 USDC net per cycle on average.
Capital base 4,676 USDC.
8.84% all time, 2.49% over the last 30 days, 0.85% over the last 7.
I do not annualize any of that and I would rather you did not either. Every closed cycle is a winning one, which sounds better than it is: a cycle only closes when the sell goes off above the buy, so open losing positions are simply not in the count.
Split per exchange: Hyperliquid 1,598 cycles for 225.33 USDC, Binance 942 for 87.37, Kraken 498 for 35.80, Aster 325 for 31.90, MEXC 197 for 12.56, Bitvavo 172 for 20.39.
The Hyperliquid part you can check without me: address 0xc2E2c523A41F66b09448AC432BEf01ab23cDF2Bd on hypurrscan.io. The centralized exchange cycles sit in no public ledger and I will not pretend they are verifiable.
EXCHANGES
Hyperliquid, Bitvavo (MiCA regulated, native BTC-USDC pair), Aster, Kraken, MEXC, KuCoin, Binance (outside the EU). Your machine has to be running for the bot to trade. No cloud, no VPS included, nothing runs while your laptop is shut.
WHAT 3.0.2 ADDED (3 September 2026)
Linux and macOS builds next to Windows. A Telegram interface: one notification per closed cycle, read commands, and any command that changes something sits behind a confirmation. It only answers while the scheduler is running. Sizing modes per exchange. Grid restructuring: regroup or split sells, or move a whole grid to another exchange, with a preview before anything is cancelled and no way back once confirmed. Excel tax export. An analytics dashboard with Drop Cover, which tells you how far BTC can fall before a given exchange runs out of free USDC. Light and dark theme. Automatic database backups.
PLATFORMS AND INSTALL
Windows x64 .exe, Linux .deb and AppImage, macOS .dmg for Apple Silicon and Intel. The binaries are not signed. Windows SmartScreen will warn you, and macOS blocks the first launch until you allow it in System Settings. Auto update works on Windows. On the .deb and on the macOS builds the app does not update itself, it checks once a day and shows a banner with a download link. On the AppImage, 3.0.2 does neither: it looks for an update file I never published, fails silently, and shows no banner. The code is proprietary, closed source.
PRICE
5.99 USD per month, 29.99 for 6 months, 49.99 for 12 months. Same features on every plan. 90 day free trial with every feature included and no account needed to download. Payment details go in when the trial starts, first charge on day 91.
FREE LIFETIME LICENCE
I am handing out lifetime licences to people who actually run it on Binance, KuCoin or Kraken and send me real feedback, or who write a serious bug report. Four lifetime licences are left, with the code FREEGRIDBOT26.
