what did i just read? even though i’ve read it a few times, i still don’t understand what the point of this is.

i can tell there’s no such thing as “mastering” slot games. no matter what the world’s best slot player does, they’re doomed to lose money over the long enough term. if you’re just trying to predict what will happen based on the visuals and make a profit, it’s a lost cause. that’s because the odds are chosen completely at random every time you make a choice.

Logically there is no specific pattern in any slot game in which we may know how good the final result will be. I've played Gates of Olympus a lot, hitting max win several times but I did not even see any pattern before the end of the free spins/bonus round which told me that I will win a max win. Even if there is a landed 500x multiplier earlier, it is still not a guarantee of a big win or max win but of course the chance is bigger.

To be honest I am still surprised to see that there are people who think there is a pattern that would work in slot game, the few moments I tried giving a close attention to slot game I didn’t even find out that there is a specific pattern that works perfectly on slot games. Although such could be trials by error methods but that doesn’t automatically gives an edge of someone to have that notion about slots games as we know it’s a chance based game which everyone knows.

Don't bother much as I tried the game for almost 2 hours now and the 5th reel didn't neccessarily gave the more lightning multipliers as suggested here, also the other ones did not show some more than others so most probably the observation of the OP here is wrong or at least during this near 2 hour session I had showed completely different results and patterns compared to those presented here. So either way we keep losing on the long run, that is the bottom line.

Before I started playing slots, i heard a lot of myths about patterns in playing slots just like a patterns for the buy bonus feature to hit a big win or max win, timing patterns, and some people even believe that playing at midnight increases their chances for big win. players who believe these myths especially when losing money while playing slots and try several various patterns, actually will only make them feel closer to a big win, even though they are only spending more money than will making more money (except luck with them of course  ).
