What's the biggest thing holding DEXs back right now?

Liquidity is always the big problem for DEX users, they can just go on and swap/trade any coin to token for any amount they have to check for the liquidity at first and for top cryptos it will be enough but for the random altcoin it will be close to zero at the current price.

And I personally don't need the DEXes yet, I used to the KYC so it is not a problem and I always like the faster user experience with not much of a complicated process and I don't leave anything on their site for long. So I am compromising the privacy here for convenience but I am not losing the funds for any reason.
