You're right, a newbie who's planning to get involved in crypto Investment (bitcoin) precisely does not need to be bombed with too many explanations. I would never want to teach such people about Bitcoin. Even if I had to, I would first warn them about the volatility of Bitcoin and the uncertainty of making a profit by investing in Bitcoin. Because such people have no knowledge and if I tell them to invest in Bitcoin and tell them the good points of Bitcoin, they might be willing to invest and when they see a market crash, they might sell their holdings to avoid facing huge losses and they would blame me for that loss. Before explaining something to someone, it would be a good idea and a time saving if we read the person either they are interested into what you are about to share with them or not because some people can be time wasting. But when they show interest then we can begin with the basics and the most important part like why was it created, it purposes, it uses, how valuable it is and how benefiting it can be then we should let them know the risk in it too and how it isn’t 100% guaranteed to bring profits when invested.

Why do you or I  need to explain Btcoin to someone who haven't done any digital financial transaction before, not even familiar now ? Trust me whatever you tell them is completely useless and a waste of time, they can even think you're trying to scam them .

Have you even tried to explain it to someone familiar with such and they still don’t get it because even some who have the knowledge have to unlearn and relearn what they already know.

Use land as an example when teaching those kind people about Bitcoin, also use palm oil to to teach these laymen.

Land are bought and then fenced and gated for protection, while leaving it for longer period to appreciate and then sell in high price for profit. The same goes with palm oil, some oil are bought in large quantity, stored in a drum for longer period because palm oil hardly get spoilt, when the market price is condusive, you can unlock it from the drum to make profit.

People who really understand what digital currency is and have never used online banking will never understand or try to understand Bitcoin no matter how simple you try to explain it to them, you will not get any feedback for the time you spend on them. No matter how well you try to explain it to them, they will not understand it and when they do not understand what Bitcoin is, they may make bad comments about Bitcoin, so I think it is not right to explain Bitcoin to someone who is not familiar with the online banking system.

The main issue concerning these persons and telling them about Bitcoin is: do these persons really need the information, and if they need it, why do they need it? I think all these questions are necessary, because we have so many funny people, as all they want to know is about Bitcoin. After all, they are just interested in the money aspect; aside from that, there is no associative link between them and the dealings of Bitcoin.

Basic knowledge about the internet will add up, but if I meet someone who doesn't even have a clue about how the internet works, to be honest, I won’t be wasting my time trying to teach them because it will typically be like a child who is moved from nursery school into secondary.
