This morning na I say make I bring this news come here oo weda e good if our presido no attend that meeting wey be say na d big people for every country na Dem dey go but our own no reach go about make una help me check on the president weda him dey alright or abi small fever or malaria dey worry am make una carry am go hospital for some medical checkup or abi na direct treatment sef make we hear from una this morning.

What some Nigerians are saying is that Tinubu do not want United States to arrest him is the reason he did not attend, but according to the presidency, the president is on vacation which is the official reason and people should accept it.

The vice president went which is enough.

The president of South Africa and Egypt did not also go.

China, Russia, India, Germany and Italy presidents and prime ministers did not go. What make it a big deal to you people that Nigeria president also did not attend. There is a reason the president has vice.

The last time Tinubu attended United Nations General Assembly was in 2023, he did not go in 2024 and 2025 and also he did not go in 2026.

I think African leaders want the United Nations to do something that have not been done but I do not know if that is or not the reason the president of the three African countries did not attend.

Africa did not have a permanent seat in the United Nations till today but they have been seeking for it since 2005. It is now over 10 years.

I think it's has been a routine meeting that every presidents attends once in a year and for our president not to attend it literally means something and he might be dodging from something which has made him not to attend, some people say he refused to attend because of the drugs case he has and is afraid of being detained, that outside being on a vacation is not enough reason for a president not to attend a very important meeting that will help shape his country but if he is on vacation due to his health then that shouldn't be a problem since the vice President Shettima has already represent him.

We have other African countries that their president didn't attend too which is Egypt, South Africa, I also think China, Russia and India didn't attend and most definitely they will send delegates that will represent their country, the most important thing is that there's a delegate assigned since they couldn't make it so the Nigerian president shouldn't be crucified.

the UN assembly is held once in a year,this is an opportunity which our president should have sieze to discuss the economical and security challenges Nigeria is facing, instead he is relaxing in France on a vacation tour. I don't know how he became our president,he should vacate the seat for a competent hand to rule this country.

Apart from not wanting to visit America, perhaps there could be some reasons which some people predict it’s because he serves the desires of the people who are trying to control him so he play the role of absence so he would not be there to present to pressing international issues.

There's nothing wrong if a president doesn't attend the UN meeting, he can send his representatives either Vice president, foreign ministers etc. Did you see Xi Jinping,  Putin or even south African president there. So it's not a must, and if he was to talk about economical challenges in his country, nothing will be done about it. Do you know how many countries have asked the UN  to do something about the conflicts in their home , yet no help was sent. So let's stop doing as if it's a bad thing to miss the UN. Even the UN has become useless, Trump , Javier Millei casted the whole organisation on how useless they are. They have become a forum instead of savin the world.  Moreover hope you know that no Africa country has a permanent seat in the security council. People whey no rate Africans , nai una dey put for head. I am sure TINUBU had health issues, that's why he is not seen in Nigeria.  Instead of them to fix our health centres here, they are using the money for useless things.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an outlaw to United States, and since the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was held in the United States Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn't attend the meeting because he's afraid he might be arrested once he step his foot in the United States. You see, this is what I tell people that if Tinubu was serious about the welfare of this country he will always be available for an meeting that will will change the narrative of his governance, this is about time when the meeting usually holds and you can't tell me that he was unaware of the meeting before traveling out and even if he was unaware he can still navigate his way from anywhere in the world to attend such a very important meeting for the country and discuss the way forward for the masses as his predecessors has always done when they were still in power.

Except for Goodluck Ebelle Jonathan that worked for the interest of Nigerians when he was the president I have not seen anyone one who's working for the interest of the people, Jonathan left office for Buhari because he didn't want bloodshed of the innocent citizens which many can't do. Nigerians are tired of the rulership of Tinubu and we want change.
