I understand the context and indeed sometimes I also often see comments on some social media about a trader who has managed to succeed in the world of trading and they share educational videos to people on the internet and there are always some people who comment that trading is gambling, from this it can be concluded that some people do not know about what and - equally risky, even though the way it works is different, trading can be learned while gambling depends on luck.

We can also make money in trading on the basis of luck, but we can also increase our chances beyond luck in trading. The only time a trading will more like gambling is when a trader, randomly bets on shot term price movement, especially with a high leverage and no defined strategy or risk management.

If the only time trading is more like gambling, is when traders, randomly bets on short time price movement, then trading and gambling share little or to no similarities and much difference. But is that really the case? That can't actually be! Without random bets on short time price movement, the analysis are more like prediction that most times just end up like gambling prediction because it has from no percentage certainty to 50/50 certainty win.
