Such unfavourable news coming in, but with bistler is just unexpected close of business, they casino activities has  been a good one with success for the team since 2015, those with balance on the casino have few days before deadline 30th September to cashout their balance.

Duelbits own case is quite different, their will definitely continue operations, after this hack and this not the first time they survived similar attack in 2024, so this time their expected to get back to business more stronger this time.

Bitsler operated for over a decade and there is no record of hack or any security threats, or data breaches, zero hack incident, this is worth accolade to them.

This duelbit hack is a very big shock and one of the largest I have come across so far concerning casino hacks, stake, and metawin figures, which are not close to this. I just hope duelbit will be able to resolve this and start up their 2.0 version.

Bitsler.io I thought they had a similar shutdown in December last year, which was 2025, due to regulatory compliance, or was that particular shutdown just on some countries and this one a total close-down?, anyways shutdown might not be what players want but it’s better than the casino being hacked and sweeper dried.

It is pretty typical to see operations with small reserves close down in bear markets. Hacks also seem more common during these periods due to coverups or desperation from the business and potential hackers. I suspect if we see a downturn in the market to retest the lows, we will see a lot more operations close their doors. Be safe out there.

Wooh. Very sad. Hope everyone gets their money. But I know for a fact that not everyone will get their money. There are levels of risk even with a very reputable casino. Risk of them being hacked that's the one we are seeing now. At the end, even depositing your funds is still risk. Another thing I can point out is security is different from a company that has good name. Just because they are legit doesn't mean they are secure. We should keep that in mind.

Your thoughts are accurate, no need creating same topic about Duelbits when there's already a post on it, but am shocked at the total closure of Bitsler.
Any users here have grace period till October 31st to withdraw their funds by contacting support and am hoping support should be responsive in this case because this isn't a case of wrong withdrawal or some wrong doings but a case of claims of funds in the platform.
I wonder what led to such closure having been in business for a long time without any known issues I can point to as a potential cause.

I’ve heard of Bitsler too but I’ve never used their Casino service before.. yet, it’s unfortunate to see this waves of hacks unfold during this period.. there’s so much lost on the internet in the last couple of months

There is some speculation on the official Ann of Bitsler, something about the CGA hacked record, but we never know the reason behind it unless the authority or the casino itself announces it.

Yes, unfortunately, Duelbits, which previously had one of the coolest, largest signature campaigns here on the forum, has confirmed a hack and has temporarily gone offline. The damage caused by the hackers is estimated at approximately $7,000,000. The website’s administration claims that all the stolen money is the platform’s own funds, and the wallets and users have not been affected. Unfortunately, this is already the second case of a similar hack on the same platform. If you remember, a couple of years ago there was indeed a hack involving $6,500,000, and it seems they didn’t draw the full appropriate conclusions.
Unfortunately, once again, the “days without a hack” counter resets to zero.

I completely agree with you that during a bear market there are many projects that cannot survive but as for as I know that those projects are from the crypto related sector not the gambling sector.
I'm actually confused here as to how gambling sites are actually connected to the bear market, causing them to shut down their services?

Some journalists accessed hacked records of the Curacao Gaming Authority which had the doxxes of all of the crypto casinos on them.

Maybe Bitsler was in it, I don't know.

Sad news indeed. Bitsler is one of those reputable long-running crypto casinos in the gambling market so hearing it closing make us a little bit sad because this casino will no longer be seen in the market operating. Although there is no certain reason behind this closure but I guess it has something to do with the new Curacao gambling regulations.

On the other hand, Duelbits is suspending its operation due to the current major thefts. Hopefully they will create a good investigation and find out a reliable solution so that Duelbits may proceed with its gambling operation soon.

Duelbits is a very friendly casino which I have also read about the new in the other thread but this Bitsler is a very strange one to me.
Haven to keep deep about this thread, I think it should be a privilege for us to understand that even popular casinos even as they maybe favorites can still vulnerable for invaders which is why we should not trust the companies too full even if they seem to be reputable.

Don't get me wrong, there are people who also uses their gambling wallets to store funds. So imagine having a huge sum and it is hit of hacking, sure it could set your funds at risk in terms like this.
If you have also fallen victim of such as a gambler, I will advice thorough investigations be made and don't take out of being too urge to gambling after your favorite is compromised and jump into any available one.

The Duelbits carries some terrifying tensions than this Bitsler due to their popularities. I am referring to their possessions in the forum. Maybe can be some good to write about to others who are familiar with it.

Migrating is not the case here, the empathy, the grieves, the sorrow and the agony on the hack is what should be looked at, at the moment. I am just starting to see crypto companies differently nowadays, its seems building crypto brands has to require to face hacks in the future no matter the security machine or software you implore into the system.

The way they ended the business really shows that they are running away from something that is after them. I remember Bitsler in the good old days, but after some years their activity in the forum dwindled until they tried to make a comeback around last year, if I recall well.
I hope a lot of good casinos don't get caught up in the circus. Also a lesson that data privacy, which is advertised by platforms, is a lie. Data can leak at any time.

While most of the casinos are shutting down when the market is bearish due to severe liquidity crises and loss of marketing, but these two casinos are facing different issues. Bitsler is suddenly closing after a decade of gambling operation while Duelbits is facing a very tough situation which none of us has anticipated that Duelbits will be put in this very difficult period.

And more likely with the latest Curacao new strict wind-down rules, more casinos will be closing soon and maybe bitsler is just the first on it.

So much hack case this year and the stolen funds is usually big, It keeps me wondering why the success rate of this scammers keep increasing. Anytime this issues comes up, I always hope that the scammers can be apprehended and made to face the consequences of their terrible actions, although one thing is certain, they can not hide for ever, definitely there luck will over one day and they will be caught and will suffer for their acts. I just hope this doesn't cause the casino to go down or even affect customers payout.
