I’m sorry to hear that about Duelbits. It was one of my favourite sites. I hope that $7 million loss won't be critical for them and they will be back and running, as promised in this picture



which you can see now, when trying to open the site. I also hope that thieves will be caught and punished. I hate those people with all my heart and I'm glad that their deeds rarely go unpunished since lately.

I know about Bitsler, but i have never gambled there. I don't know if they have a lot of players in this community, but good thing is that there are more than enough reputable alternatives to migrate to.

Lol, we're talking about Bitsler here, that is shutting down their operations, they were not hacked. They also didn't provide any concrete reason as to why they are leaving the market, i suspect it could be down to dwindling revenue, but not limited to it. So yes, players have until September, 30 to withdraw their money and migrate to another casino.

Reputability and security are two different things, a casino may have been operating for a long time but when they don't tighten up their security or probably don't fix loose ends there is a high chance that their security system would be breached at some point, this is the reason why security is something that should always be prioritized by every casino. I have heard about casinos that crashed due to this reason but I didn't think it would ever happen with duel bits.


It is dangerous to keep or save money in your gambling account, although it's quite unlikely that this will happen with every casino but to be on the safe side it is better that you always place withdrawals immediately you win. I really hope it would be possible for them to pay back the players that lost their resources due to this incident. As for bistler, as official statement as to what really happened hasn't been released yet.

It's a sad and regrettable news for both casino's, but I wonder why a big casino like duelbit will be this vulnerable to hackers, but regardless of this, it's a wake up call to not just the top casinos, but to all the crypto casino's and other entities that hackers are now on the rampage because yesterday we heard that bitget was hacked and almost $170 million gone, so this is a wake up call to everyone in this digital space to be very careful and be security conscious, because a simple mistake from these entities will be very costly and regrettable.

It is better to shutdown with your reputation intact than staying in business and ruining your reputation, from what I know Bitsler, didn't ruin their reputation here in this forum, it means that if they decide to rebrand and start operation again there trust wouldn't be in question. Duelbit, is a reputable casino and I'm sure that they will recover from this unfortunate setback, being hacked can force a reputable casino to shutdown but if they have sufficient reserve they can continue their services. Cases of hacks is on the high side now and there is need for casinos including every unrelated sites to beef up their security to cover vulnerable loopholes so they won't be victims of hackers who are becoming more sophisticated.

This is shocking, it looks that there were some hacks that happened today. And it's done on the same day, might be collaborated hack from these platforms.

As per that article, it says that it's mostly stolen their ETH.

It's the most terrible news today and at some point with how large scale hacks like this one have become common place this year it makes me wonder if this can all be attributed to AI, because AI is supposed to just be a tool, however people use it is a choice so if it can be used to make this much hacking possible the. It should also be possible to use it to prevent hacks as well. I'm just saying.

Bitsler ceased operations, users were told to withdraw any remaining funds by September 30th, and closed permanently on October 1st.

One of the oldest casinos and the closing date is near, I have no funds on them anymore but it feels saddening whenever one of these casinos announce their closure. They have been part of the forum and our growth as well in this community.  

They have their reasons but I'm glad they are leaving on their own terms, anyone with funds still there should just make sure to clear them out, at the very least they've given enough time to do that, trying to make sure nobody loses money even now.

I woke up this morning with messages from a couple old friends from here on the forum and was sorta shocked when learning about the leak and Bitsler closing. I knew business wasn't going great for awhile, but I didn't expect they would be closing. I found it also odd that they tried to delete their announcement thread, not sure what that was about, but they should know nothing is actually really deleted here. Archived pages can be found anytime.

There is no news that Bitsler was hacked. The information is that they are shutting down operations. Winding up is better than a rug pull or an exit scam. There are high chances that all users will get back their money since they have been given some time for them to withdraw their funds from the casino. The crypto gambling industry has become so competitive that it will take effective business strategies to stay afloat.

The good part about Bitsler is that they make it long for users to have a chance to withdraw their funds. That is cool of them. Other gambling sites will probably just close it down without warning, and they will just use other reasons to make their company look pitiful.

This is better that they made it quick than hang around looking for bailouts. Some exchanges and casino are very fund of this character, they will have internal crisis and instead of shutting down and let people have their money so they can move forward, they don't. Instead, they capitalize on effort to make more profits and delay announcements and after many trials, they give up and make announcements but the bad part is they wouldn't allow withdrawals.

About that Duelbits news, I understand it's almost the same strategy the hackers used at Stake.com. I guess other gambling sites should learn from this. Two big companies are targeted and have the same type of hacking tools. There must be something to prevent this from happening again.

This is really unfortunate, like the hack and exploits that has happened in 2026 is really a big number. I didn't expect Duelbit will get hit this way. I think they need to investigate their security team, two similar hack can't happen over again, they need to make them accountable for that money and sack them. They should also offer bounty to check other loop holes. I hope they bounce back.

The damage caused by the hackers is estimated at approximately $7,000,000. The website’s administration claims that all the stolen money is the platform’s own funds, and the wallets and users have not been affected. Unfortunately, this is already the second case of a similar hack on the same platform. If you remember, a couple of years ago there was indeed a hack involving $6,500,000, and it seems they didn’t draw the full appropriate conclusions.
Unfortunately, once again, the “days without a hack” counter resets to zero.

Duelbits is a very big casino, judging from their marketing prowess and online presence. From the information on their site, they are running a planned maintenance, hopefully to ensure they rectify the flaws in the code that led to such a breach and other necessary upgrades.
I believe they can absorb the loss and continue operation. I think every platform should run an AI  assisted full review of their security architecture to correct any security loophole cos these group of hackers aren't ready to hold the brakes anytime soon and we never can tell who's next.

You know what these are coordinated attacks!!!! And at this point am now pointing to AI for aiding these hacks because it's what's doing the heavy lifting with all the resources available to it!! And for context , if we tally the 2026 reported hacks alone, the numbers are very concerning.. perhaps these platforms need to share notes on how best to protect their funds because someone is definitely pene testing to find loopholes in these crypto platforms.

Quite unfortunate concerning what happened to Duelbits, they're one of the most reputable casinos here, too bad they became a victim of hack, hopefully they'll have reserve that won't keep them from shutting down. I didn't follow up the Bitsler case previously, did they shutdown due to bad performance? Cause i recently open their ANN and saw a post talking about Curacao's portal was breached and how it might affect crypto casinos maybe that's what affected Bitsler.

I would be surprised if that was the reason they closed. There doesn’t seem to be anything notable in those leaked documents that implicates them in something shady, as far as I can tell. They have been around a long time and their reputation was mostly favorable with few scam accusations. They just weren’t that popular though, so they might have been struggling financially.

They ran a great signature campaign last year that paid well and on time. It’s sad that they’re closing, but they were a good brand and I will remember them in a positive way unless new information comes out.

That's a possibility that can be seen on how it's able to penetrate them and successfully stolen their funds. And as a tool, the responsibility is on the user, to either use it for good or bad like this one.

I've seen some closures in the past and it took the closure a while for everyone to withdraw their funds but, some users missed the announcement despite that the window for withdrawal is long.

Many gambling sites are withdrawing their services today because of one challenge or the other. This attack on these cryptocurrency gambling platforms is really devastating considering what it takes to esterblish a genue gambling platforms. However it is noticed that duelbits stores their fund in a hot cryptocurrency wallet, and to me it is not a good idea. We know how how dangerous it is to have your wallet connected online because it is vulnerable to attack, and I believe if this fund was stored in a cold wallet or non custodial wallet, they wouldn't have encountered this huge loss. There are many gamblers who are comfortable with this gambling platforms maybe because of there good services, and moving to other ones not properly known might pose some form of difficulty.
Furthermore, every genue gambling platform should prioritize the safety of their platform, and ensure good security measures to protect their fund, and their platform from attack. Some gamblers are already comfortable using a particular platform, and when they attacked, not only the platform will be affected, the gamblers too will be affected in a way.

The announcement isn't only here on the forum, their own site itself shows they are no longer accepting bets, the only way you miss that kind of information is if you don't ever visit the casino until the deadline is up, after all they are still making provision for people to still be able to get their money till October 31, it means more effort on the side of the person but it's still far better then the site just closing out of nowhere and all of the money people have there gone with them, if that had been the case people would have started calling them scammers completely ignoring/forgetting all their years or efficient service.

With the size of Duelbits, I think they will restore their service quickly, because although their total losses are quite large, I don't think that an incident like this could bankrupt their platform.
As for Bitsler, I have only encountered their signature a few times on this forum, but given how fierce the competition between online casinos is these days, it's quite normal for a casino to close. However, if they have been in this industry before, it is possible that the owners will definitely open another casino with a fresher format.
