RCPU was launched in August, and the hashrate is quite low on this coin at the moment. I have been mining a decent number of coins, even on a 2014 office PC for about a week now.

I am just a community member chiming in, in case anyone wants to get involved in mining or supporting this project, I wanted to encourage them to do so.

The developers are Chinese. They can be reached on Telegram, I will post the relevant links below.

I would recommend using a Chinese translator for the Telegram chat, if you have Telegram premium, I believe that it auto-translates for any user browsing the chat as well. My name on Telegram is Dango, and I speak English, and the developers have used English translators in the past. Potentially, if we have enough English speakers in the chat, they will switch back to translating in English.

v1.0.19 is the most recent functioning wallet. There are newer releases, but the developers are working on creating a wallet that will generate receiving addresses that include the public keys, which enables better privacy/confidential transaction capability. When the developers have patched and resolved the intended fixes to the newest version of the wallet, they have said that they will announce it. At that point, I would say that installing the newest wallet would be advisable, but for now, I would stick with v1.0.19 as mentioned above.

I have been largely on my own checking out this coin on Telegram (and mining it), and am just hoping to bring some new people into the project to hang out with and talk to about it.

The developers are forking Bitcoin and including private transactions, so it is inherently a different animal from the likes of Monero or ZCash. I am very interested to see how things pan out with this project. The developers wanted to prioritize development and security confirmations over community outreach, but I couldn't help but feel like things will be more decentralized and more active if I make this community announcement.

I'm not sure, you may need to hop into the Telegram chat to ask the developers how to solo mine. Either that, or maybe ask ChatGPT or Grok. Sometimes, when I want to mine a new coin, I will paste the GitHub link into Grok and ask "How can I set up a wallet and mine this ?" Good luck! I would suggest coming into the telegram group

I will make a discord now, but it isn't going to be the nicest interface in the beginning. I have to adjust it, or get help from someone who can. But there will be a general chat and a server there for Discord users for now. I am more into Telegram myself, and that is where the team is. I can try to talk to the team, and see if they will come over to Discord too.

There is some sort of issue with the pool interface, but the pool is functioning. I have been mining on it for about 10 days now. After 100 block confirmations, your coins will get paid out
