The other problem is that the coins used might be traced back to my wallets
Good point. By observing UTXOs on both chains, before they are splitted, it is sometimes possible to guess many things.
However, the answer to that is the same, as if there would be no forks: how to hide your coins properly? You have to just mix them, in that way, or another.
One way of mixing your coins, is making a signature, which is open for transaction modifications. For example: a self-transfer with SIGHASH_SINGLE, combined with SIGHASH_ANYONECANPAY, will let you move your coin to a new destination, while allowing inclusion in other transactions. And then, it doesn't matter, who and when will push it on-chain. If you won't do that by yourself, then your coins will be mixed with some strangers.
I still wonder, who was in such a hurry, and decided to send
0.01 0.02 BIP-110 coins in fees, before they even changed their mining algorithm:

You know, that pushing data can be outsourced, right? You can upload a file, download a JSON recovery data, and then share that JSON with anyone, who will want to push it on-chain. Then, other people can publish it later.
I starred at those pics for minutes, and now I'm seeing sounds and hearing colors but still can't figure what the hell is in those pictures...
Because you shouldn't stare at them, but instead check some insignificant bits. See:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography#Digital_messagesHere, you have a tree:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography#/media/File:Steganography_original.pngBut inside of that tree, there are cats:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography#/media/File:Steganography_recovered.pngBecause a human's eye can recognize thousands of colours, but in RGB space, there are much, much more. And instead of using values from 0x00 to 0xff, you can for example use increments of 0x04 or 0x08, and then instead of having 24-bit pixels, you can have 16-bit real image, and 8-bit hidden image. Or that 8-bit stream can contain anything, for example some text data.
