Do you actually check provably fair results?

One thing I really dislike in casinos is to make it hard to check your results.
Some casinos go as far as to deliberately misconfigure their probably fair setup so as they can pass under lower luck to their players then the one advertised. There was an example recently posted on the forum which this very thing was happening.

With time I hope all instances of provably fair misuse are called out.

For me, the bigger question is what happens when it’s time to withdraw. A fair game doesn’t help much if the withdrawal rules are unclear or you only find out about KYC after winning.

Does it matter? Are there no trusted casinos that promote provably fair games? Yes, you and I know there are trusted casinos with fair gameplay, and that is the casino I make use of. Easy deposit, fast withdrawal, and clear rules are not an issue with these casinos. Importantly, I do not leave my money in the casino after I'm done playing.

Do you check the game results, or do you pay more attention to withdrawal terms and other players’ experiences?

More than 80% of players don't check the game results. I'm part of them. The rest can't keep accurate results of the game.

I think it would be fair to call those cases "corporate greed" by casinos which partake in it.
They already have the edge of the house in their favor, so it would be just matter of time before they fill their pockets, thanks to the laws of chance and probabilities.
The least thing casinos would be supposed to do is keeping their word and allowing their gamblers to enjoy the relatively low edge which is advertised by the casino, and not to slip an even more disadvantageous system against gamblers who were going to lose their money anyways, but slower...

I never check a casino's provable fairness because it would take too much time and I don't want to fill my head with information that's irrelevant. If a casino has unfair practices, and it's a large one, then I believe the fraud will eventually come to light because others are checking provable fairness. You know, life is short, and wasting it on endless checks is pointless. For example, when we go to a restaurant, we could try to check a multitude of things: sanitary certificates, expiration dates on the semi-finished products used in cooking, whether the disinfectants are used, whether the staff has undergone training, and so on. But this is absurd if we're ordering a dish that costs an hour.

I agree with you that trust and transparency regarding withdrawal terms and KYC requirements are far more important than “provably fair”.

What is the point of having fair results if the casino will not allow you to withdraw your winnings when you win and claim a withdrawal?

Practically speaking, doing that every bet that you have just placed, means having to go through the website pages and reveal the server seed (to get the new server seed for the next bet) and then use it on dicesites.com to verify it.

So I would do that but after a certain number of bets. Still if you are running on a trusted well known casino, you can give your paranoia a rest and focus on the betting that is ongoing.

Either way, if a casino is not provably fair, what the hell are you doing there anyway?
