I have nothing against with the XRP holders.

But if Garlinghouse is doing that, he's also free to do it. We know that most of these CEOs doesn't really stay on what they have made.

Like CZ, he's got a lot of BTC to start with and yet he's made BNB.

XRP is not picking up anytime soon, but the Ripple use case with major banks is a deep improvement for the project, having banks use Ripplenet for payment messaging is a part of the project that looks smooth, as for the crypto, ripple isn't a fine toned project for investors ever since their last law suit with the SEC, it was before then which was in 2018 that Ripple had some potentials in the market, investors had an eye for the project, after Eth, ripple was a buying alternative, lately is no longer an option, holding Xrp is not a smart financial move.

Despite that, it's still ridiculous how people are still buying XRP. Vast majority of founders are selling their XRP like there's no tomorrow. Jed McCaleb sold, Chris Larsen and others. Yet, people are still buying XRP and saying XRP will go to the moon.

Can't get to the moon if the founders themselves are dragging you down with their billion dollar non stop dumping. This is the side effect of 100% pre mine with 20% allocation for founders themselves and 80% to company's treasury which is also themselves. Worst deal in the history of deals.

When high expectations are built up around an altcoin for the long term, and years go by without those expectations being met, the tendency is to feel disappointed. You are likely disappointed because, to this day, the price of Ripple hasn't risen much; however, you need to look at Ripple's purpose. If it is fulfilling that purpose, then the project isn't a failure, even if the price doesn't go up significantly. Looking at Ripple's position on CoinMarketCap:

XRP ranks above Solana; it trails only BNB and ETH on CoinMarketCap, which indicates it is seeing heavy usage. So, it isn't dying out the way you seem to think. It is one thing for the price not to be rising and, honestly, that was to be expected with this altcoin. I don't know why people are so hopeful that this altcoin would reach very high prices, considering it has a max supply of 100 billion and only 570,250 holders. That is a massive number of coins. Don't expect to see a high price for this coin. Take this analysis, for example:

It’s incredible: XRP was worth $0.40 in 2019 and, seven years later, peaked at just $3.50 whatever profit they might have made pales in comparison to Bitcoin. Bitcoin was worth $4,000 in 2019 and managed to reach $126,000 seven years later. People who bought XRP wasted their time; it’s a disappointment for them when I make that comparison with Bitcoin. That’s why my advice is to buy Bitcoin.
