But if Garlinghouse is doing that, he's also free to do it. We know that most of these CEOs doesn't really stay on what they have made.

XRP is not picking up anytime soon, but the Ripple use case with major banks is a deep improvement for the project, having banks use Ripplenet for payment messaging is a part of the project that looks smooth, as for the crypto, ripple isn't a fine toned project for investors ever since their last law suit with the SEC, it was before then which was in 2018 that Ripple had some potentials in the market, investors had an eye for the project, after Eth, ripple was a buying alternative, lately is no longer an option, holding Xrp is not a smart financial move.

Despite that, it's still ridiculous how people are still buying XRP. Vast majority of founders are selling their XRP like there's no tomorrow. Jed McCaleb sold, Chris Larsen and others. Yet, people are still buying XRP and saying XRP will go to the moon.

Can't get to the moon if the founders themselves are dragging you down with their billion dollar non stop dumping. This is the side effect of 100% pre mine with 20% allocation for founders themselves and 80% to company's treasury which is also themselves. Worst deal in the history of deals.

When high expectations are built up around an altcoin for the long term, and years go by without those expectations being met, the tendency is to feel disappointed. XRP ranks above Solana; it trails only BNB and ETH on CoinMarketCap, which indicates it is seeing heavy usage. So, it isn't dying out the way you seem to think. It is one thing for the price not to be rising and, honestly, that was to be expected with this altcoin. I don't know why people are so hopeful that this altcoin would reach very high prices, considering it has a max supply of 100 billion and only 570,250 holders. That is a massive number of coins. Not to mention, there are a billion XRP in circulation. "Inflation" is crazy on this crypto. It's just like Dogecoin or any other "meme" coin with an exorbitant supply. I often consider Stellar (XLM) a better XRP alternative because of its decentralized nature. I mean, the core consensus protocol and network is practically the same as XRP. However, the project is more aligned to the community's interests than a single conglomerate (corporation). It's one of the most overlooked and undervalued cryptocurrencies. The only downside, of course, is the total/max supply. Billions of XLM that will ever exist. That will limit its ability to become extremely-valuable in the future.

At least we know, XLM will survive while XRP's days are numbered due to its centralized design. It's what it is.

How I wish I could spread this to those who believe that Ripple will moon. Still, I have found Ripple to be stagnant at a price range not above $1.7 for many months.  God knows when it will be above $10; many fellas have it in mind that it will skyrocket.

That being said, let's be watching what will be of Ripple, whether their investors who believe in it will learn their lesson in a hard way or their belief will pay them off someday in the long run
