For me it's not only about where you store your money but the investments you were able to own with your money. There are people who can invest the last money they have in a potential asset because they know that it will surely generate income for them. Wealth is not really measured by how much you have in your bank account balance but how many assets do you own? Bitcoin is good to store our money since it is a hedge against inflation but also we should not forget that the market is volatile. The idea should be to store some money in bitcoins and use the rest money to invest in real life assets that can generate steady cash flow in the long term.

Just to keep it simple I believe everyone just has their different opportunities and ways of making money and so on, because being wealthy doesn't in any way concern your job. Like you can't become wealthy if you earn monthly salaries and yet there are a lot of expenses that, even before the month ends you will have to even go and borrow just to buy some certain stuff. But speaking of wealth I think that word is endless as to each individual because, no matter how you see it we humans are not contented with what we have which means no matter how much we make now, we still need more. To me being wealthy is just a word to push you and keep you going, while true wealth comes from being comfortable that you can afford anything you want based on your standards. Working hard every day just to be empty handed at the end of the month after paying for everything is not a wise choice, but since many don't have the luxury to have discretionary income, they don't even get to save for emergency funds. That's why people don't even save at all. But if one has the luxury to save in fiat, then saving in fiat is the biggest mistake.

I learned it from day one, that's why I don't prefer holding fiat at all. Instead, I prefer holding dollars, which is not the local currency here, or BTC. But BTC is the first priority because having BTC for the long term means we are preserving our wealth, and having dollars means I am preparing for needy times when I will need funds and when I don't want to sell from my BTC stash.

Therefore, this small thinking does not require anyone to be smart, but people still think working is the only way, not saving, because they never really give a thought to their future, although people are not like this anymore.

I would suggest that if you really want to invest your money for the long term and you’re thinking about the “what ifs,” why not put your hard earned money into a trusted and established currency or crypto coin to avoid any regrets...you have to think carefully and make the right decision for yourself so your money doesn’t go to waste... For a long term investment, it may be better to buy BTC and hold it, if you might feel like your money is stays the same and if its value doesn’t grow within a year, that’s okay unlike if you put your money in a regulated banks, regardless of how much you have, the interest you earn yearly is usually very low, and you may not be happy with the results, been there dont that.

Working 80 hours a week for 30 years and then losing the purchasing power of the funds you held, that means you wasted that time holding something that will depreciate with time due to inflation. People, when working and earning well, don't really care about inflation, they think their earnings can handle this, but they never think of their retirement.

But don't just save in it for the sake of expecting a profit after just 1 or 2 years. It is a long term thing like gold, so take it like you are investing in digital gold but much better than the physical one.

If it's how one uses money or invests it, I believe ones responsibilities will have to be considered, lifestyle, if you playing rentals please don't pay more than 50% of your take home salary and on top of that avoid having a web of ladies because those are liabilities!!

Btw when it comes to hardwork, this does get recognized if your workplace has a proper way of motivating employees and well set hierarchy route, if not you are more likely just to be impressing yourself

I mean Bitcoin could lose its value, and it is still not guaranteed anyway that you are going to make some money on Bitcoin since there are so many investors that lose money on it.

For sure, it was a good thing not to stop a lot of fiat money because I agree that it was losing value over time due to inflation, not to mention that inflation these days is just over the roof. Putting some of your funds on assets like Bitcoin was not a bad idea at all because it would store a lot of value long term, plus have the potential to make a lot of profit, but putting in a huge amount of it without a plan is not going to be a good thing since it is still a risky asset that is not going to guarantee you wealth.

It is important for sure to store your money in the right things. I must say that if I didn't know most of the things about Bitcoin or finance, it would make a lot of difference to my financial journey now.

OP, i think before we thinking about where we save our money, better dirst we think about how we spend our income. We should decide how the money is used first, How much is being set aside? Where is it should placed? then how it is developed ? Without knowing it expenses can spiral out of control or has many significant leakage, when it is happen, seeking high return investments can not solve the root problem. So cash flow management is mandatory for me. After we decide what is this money actually for and its function is clear, then we determine the proper place.

matter of fact, what i actually face even I have allocated my money properly it still can resulting poor decision because i don't make a plan from the beginning. Money for daily need must be liquid so i put it on my bank account, money for emergency fund saving must be placed in a safe and can be easily accessible, i put for 6 month on different bank account and the rest months, i choose gold. For protection money, i don't have insurance so i put it half on sharia compliant stock and half on gold. And for investment money, i put it as my business capital and the profit from real business, i put it half on bitcoin and half on productive property (rice field).

You really think hacker are just born skilled or do they also spend years learning, building their skills and experience? A lot of hacks were even planned years before they actually happened. If that isn't hard work, idk what is.

I will agree with you that hard work doesn't guarantees wealth, it's just one of the efforts that we apply to make money, not wealth building. If am not wrong, your sentiment here is that where we store our money, like in Bitcoin, plus hard work can make us rich, but I disagree with that because you only get rich when your money start working for you.

Investing in Bitcoin and other physical asset is good, but to be rich, your need to invest in something or a business that generate daily, weekly or monthly revenue for you, and Bitcoin and other traditional asset are not like that, you will only see the rewards when you have held it for a very long time.

So my take is that, putting your money to work, by not only investing in Bitcoin and other traditional asset, but by also investing in something that generate daily, weekly or monthly revenue is the true path to wealth building, because if you only investing in Bitcoin or these traditional asset without having a business generating consistent revenue, you will like sell of your traditional asset to fend for yourself and your upkeep.

To me, it's the missing liquidity that's missing. All funds invested in volatile or illiquid investments can pose problems for an individual who has saved a good long-term store of value.
