Superex.com Exchange Scam

I used Superex.com exchange in 2026 to buy LKY (Luckycoin).
I bought it for several thousand USDT.

Then Superex delisted LKY.
Their Rules tell it is possible to withdraw delisted coins during a 90 day period.
I contacted them very soon after delisting.

They didn't answer for some time, then they asked to deposit $20 in USDT as a fee for withdrawal and send to them an agreement to start a withdrawal process.
I deposited $20, sent an agreement, then they stopped answering.

I wrote to them several times during months.

After all, they could answer something like "sorry, we are not able to make a withdrawal technically, because a revived LKY is garbage".
Instead of that they simply ignored my requests.

It looks like they are dishonest.

I have to say, I had never heard of either Superex Exchange or LuckyCoin.

The big mistake you made was leaving those coins on the exchange instead of immediately withdrawing them to your own wallet. Contrary to what some people seem to believe, centralized exchanges are not banks, and when shit hits the fan, there is very little you can do. On top of that, it doesn't make much sense that they asked you to deposit additional money in order to be able to withdraw your funds. That's usually a common practice among the most obvious scam exchanges.

Anyway, hope you gonna me more careful next time (and that others won't use this exchange).

It’s a very sad situation, I confess I wasn't familiar with this exchange. I looked it up and noticed it is listed on CoinMarketCap with a volume of 42,535 BTC over the last 24 hours that’s a huge amount of money for an exchange that doesn't seem very popular. Someone mentioned this exchange back in 2022, four years ago so you'd expect them to be a major exchange with an announcement thread on this forum. Yet, there are very few user comments, which suggests the volume might be fake. They also face scam allegations, as you can see here:

There are 11 Scam Accusations against them. There are scam accusations from 2023 that they never responded to. So, if you had taken at least 10 minutes to do some research before using this exchange, you would have realized that these guys don't resolve issues when customers run into problems and consequently, you wouldn't have used the exchange.

Their logo looks a copycat of binance but even brighter.

Because from this condition that they have given to you. That's a clear sign that they're about to scam you. No user should be asked to pay for a specific amount for the withdrawal when they're delisting a coin.

I just checked their "p2p" section and guess which currency has the most orders/offers? NGN 
All other currencies including the USD have no orders. Something tells me the person behind the exchange might be one of those Nigerian scammers and is possible targeting his local people using their fiat currency.

No platform will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money before you can withdraw your money unless it is a scam. Regardless of the meme coin the OP invested in or how much he had, after they removed the coin from their platform, they should have allowed him to withdraw his money before the deadline without asking him to pay anything.

But the OP lost the $20 they asked him to pay, as well as the money he invested in this dead and apparently scam coin.

Many small and unknown CEX platforms like this list cheap meme coins and may work with scammers to take money from investors. So everyone should do their own research before using any exchange platform and even before investing in any coin.

Did you withdraw it previously, or did you withdraw it [last week]? If you hadn't withdrawn it, then they wouldn't have scammed you out of $20; rather, the entire operation was a scam from the very beginning.
It is better to purchase such tokens via decentralized bridges or avoid buying them.
