Let's imagine you are at the beach and you decide to play with sand to build a big, beautiful castle out of a sand.

You follow all rules on the box, you mix the sand well with good water, mould the sand to the perfect shape of the castle you are building, and carefully crafting the edges and sides of the castle, you did everything 100% right and you got a very beautiful and solid castle.

You stand back to look at the amazing castle you built. But all of a sudden your fluffy dog runs past and wiggles his tail. The tail hits your castle, and all the sand fell down to the floor.

Did you do something wrong, No! You did everything right and perfect . But the castle fell anyway.

Well, I guess the dog takes the blame right, but here is why that happened in life:
Sometimes unfortunate things happen that have nothing to do with you. Maybe a big rainstorm comes and ruined your graduation or your wedding ceremony. Maybe you friend gets the shiny golden star just because the teacher picked their name out of a jar. You did all your homework, class test and exams right, but the world around you did something unexpected.

Doing things right takes a long time, for example when you plant a little seed in the dirt and water it, you don't get a huge tree with sweet mangos the next morning. You have to exercise patient, you have to water it everyday, today tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, just like that continually. Sometimes you do everything right for a very long time, I mean really long time, before you see the big mango grow.

Doing things right like being kind, working hard, and eating healthy meals like veggies helps protect you and give you the chance to win. But still, you end up not getting promoted at work, you end up still suffering from illness, you end being treated badly from those you were kind to.

When your sand castle fell down, it makes you sad or angry. But I want you to know it's okay. It's normal for humans to feel upset when you do your best and still don't get the prize.

But here is the secret, because you already know how to build the castle right, you can get more sand and build even a stronger castle. People who do things right still might get knocked down, but because they are persistent and determined,  they are the ones that gets up and try again until they get it right...

People have the ability to learn and adapt to the situation.  We may not be able to control everything around us, but that does not mean we cannot anticipate such situations to a significant extent and be prepared for them.  Even when you fail, you have to figure out what you did wrong and fix it.

Sometimes persistence can be a trap, because simply waking up and rebuilding the exact same castles is how many people waste their entire lives in frustration. Sometimes it is best to pack your bags and walk away from the beach, that will be the smart financial decision to make. If you keep pouring your energy, time and savings into a business or job that keeps failing and pulling you down, then that is not determination but stubbornness. Good wisdom is knowing when a project has no headway, just cut your losses and move on.

It is true that someone can do things right and still get the wrong results but it happens rarely. Sometimes, being persistent in doing something all over again to get the right results might be exhausting and there are people who tried many times and instead of getting the best results, they still ended up failing. If you are doing something right and didn't get the right results after many times, it's better to give up because some people were actually persistent and wasted many years while trying to get it right. I have seen someone who went to a business school and acquired some business trainings but the business failed, she borrowed money to fund the business yet it failed again and before she knew it she was already in huge debt. If she had called it a quit after the business failed at first, she wouldn't have found herself as a debtor but because she thought she could do it right the second time made her to enter into a bigger problem so sometimes it is better to quit than make many attempts for success.

There are external factors that will change the outcome of an event but it doesn't mean you shouldn't change what you are supposed to do, because there is eventually one right way to do it and we have to follow that, it gets knocked down once or twice or even 99 times but you will make it on the 100th time, that is how it goes when we are blessed with lot of bad luck.

Or we can say God gives difficult situations to only people who can handle it, so you are better than the one who did in the first attempt or atleast just use this to be positive.

Life is not gamble so we can't say things are happening for people out of luck, I hear people say, he/she was lucky. No, he/she wasn't  lucky but just some many years of preparation for such a moment and everything clicked. No man can sit down idle and think they would be lucky to get a job they didn't apply and qualify for. Actionable steps must be taken and gradually as days turns to month and into years results would start showing up and people who don't know would call it luck.

And next time, be more careful where you are going to decide building you work of art. Analyze the environment first, so you can conclude it's a worthy place or not.

The problem of people doing the right things and still not being recognized has also to do with the fact they are expecting too much from people who are unable to recognize them accordingly to their value. They are putting their tokens on the wrong machines. To choose where you are going to put your efforts and energies in practice is one of the most important steps of a decision, it's about planning.

Sincerely the shock of putting efforts together and at the end not working is a bit confusing and can make one lose hope and confidence in himself, and if not careful enough to let go the past and move on with the present, he might be afraid to try again with the fear of losing again.
Every attempt made take one a step forward to success, because if you do not try you won't know if you will succeed or fail so there is no harm in trying. There are lots of experience to gain from every attempt made towards achieving any goal or target.

This mentality of yours is bad. To be great in life, you have to put in the effort. Because others have put in effort and unfortunately not made in life doesn't mean ours will be the same. Also consider those who have put in much effort, do things right, and have basically made it in society. Choose who will be your role model. The one that tried and failed or the one that tried and was successful. Greatness isn't achieved by luck. A lazy man is hardly lucky. Luck comes from tireless effort.

That's why you need patience and resilience. There are always multiple doors open even if you failed on your primary objective. Everything won't go according to what we want but we still need to do best on what we do.
Personally, I had a different career dreams and I worked hard on it but circumstances beyond my reason stopped me from further pursuing it so I switched my career in a way that I took up a job I never had imagined I'd be doing. I needed money so I loved my work, joined collage that would be useful for my career path and now though as not successful as I thought I'd be, I'm happy with what I have. And again willing to leave it all if I get better opportunity in a different career.

Life it self is a mystery, too difficult to understand if we don't pay attention to it very well because in as much as we play by the rules things can still go the wrong way for us and I can't really say is all about luck but whichever way we see things that is how it's suppose to be for us.  There are places we find ourselves, things does not seem to be going fine for us but ones another person goes to that same place things start working perfectly well, it only shows that that is not your position to be in but we sometimes blame it on the people around or maybe evil eyes (could be). What works for others can't work for you in as much as you play by the rules by being honest, if it won't work for you it won't no matter how hard you try. We all have our own journey so is best to understand the path that we in and also accept life the way it comes.

Sometimes we focus too much on the goal or results and forget about the growth and wisdom that has been taught along the journey. We forget about the knowledge to build, the patience and resiliance we developed.Even if a sandcastle u build perfectly, it can fall.Perhaps the actual lesson here is that we should change "i failed" to "i learned".

Life is like a deep sea, there are several mysteries and natural occurrence that we don't have to question always. There are people who do not think about the ethical side of their everyday actions, but life still favours them. It's not like they're doing everything perfectly well too. We have to understand that life has no fixed formula, sometimes doing things right means you will make it, other times does not also mean you will make it.

But the good thing is that consistency beats all odds. When you try and fail, you try again. If you tried 10 times before succeeding, it means you have learned 9 more ways that can not lead to success.  Giving up is the only evil, not failure. One has to motivate himself with reasons to continue instead of a thousand reasons to quit.

Sometimes life can happens whereby you put in all effort just to meet up with your target at the end of it you still found yourself not  moving forward.  Or let's assume you applied for a company as a crain operator and of a sudden you are examined and ask to provide a few details about yourself, and as well went for medical checkup to confirm if you're fit enough to handle the job, and you did exactly what they ask you to do and the company tells you they will sent you a text for resumption any day that you should be standby, and at the end things turn off. I'm saying because I have witnessed such situation it will now look as if you're not doing things right mean while you have tried your possible best.
