"Luck" is just an excuse for bad planning.

People have the ability to learn and adapt to the situation.  We may not be able to control everything around us, but that does not mean we cannot anticipate such situations to a significant extent and be prepared for them.  Even when you fail, you have to figure out what you did wrong and fix it. 

I no longer see failing as a bad thing. I take it as a  feedback mechanism to work on areas you're not good enough. I will recommend reading and listening to more people who failed and eventually rose up to achieve their dreams. The most important for me is to be properly equipped while always eager to take actions and execute at the same time being energetic. There's a high confidence that things can change to exactly the positive thoughts and plans I have up in my skull. At the same time, learn to handle your self with a little bit of love and grace when you face setbacks.

Right. Nobody likes being wrong.  When i mess up, my first instinct is to make excuses or dig in my heels.  Its uncomfortable.  But how we handle our mistakes shows who we really are.

Owning a mistake does not mean you are stupid or bad at your job.  It just means you didnt have all the facts, or you made a bad call.  It happens.

Most people handle this in one of two extremes.:

The first is downplaying it: "Its no big deal."

The second is excessive self-criticism: "I'm so dumb."

Both are useless.

Instead, just ask yourself: "What can i learn from this?"  That is a far more productive question.

You are right, sometimes giving too much time on one project that's generating not meaningful result for you,  its better to take change. Rather wasting next few more months or years on it, shifting budget to some other projects can give advantage. It doesn't mean that you are not putting effort or you are bad luck person, but sometimes environment or circumstances are not provide supportive hands to you. Taking change doesn't mean that you are failure but it is good decision to put all energy or potential on other projects that give chance of more opportunities. It is basically called life experiences, experience always teaches something whether it's not produce any fruitful results. Courage or efforts are the key factors for the survival or staying positive. If someone loses these things, then any hardwork or taking change can't give desired benefit. Every one should keep in mind that life is fill with changing the circumstances, it is not possible for everyone to stay only on one path.

Every failure does not mean you have to change the path and strategy that doesn't mean it was wrong. It can be due to factors that are out of human control. Sometimes people prepare very carefully they also try to make very reasonable decisions but still fail because they do not have proper economic knowledge. They do not understand economic conditions, competition and unexpected events. Actually, changing strategies from one to another can make things get worse. The best thing is to improve the execution without changing the ways. Failure should be treated objectively we should know what was within our control and what was not and whether the original decision was reasonable or not. Learning from failures is very good but that doesn't mean you need to change direction, you just have to be more patient and try to continue with the same path but with more and better preparation.

OP this is more like a motivational statement, of course as humans we can fall multiple times, but your ability to still push on, is what will make you win.

The bad side of failing is always returning to fail at the same spot over and over again without taking correction. People who fail for the same mistake over again are not ready to navigate life, somebody who knows how to plan life and do the right things will definitely see progress, except if they face a stronger challenge that is above what they can handle or have an idea about it.
