Is smart work really for everyone?

That statement is basically for those who are doing well, I mean those that already have other source of income. Because even though they got sacked for not working hard they still have other alternative, a guy that literally have nothing should not look into this statement as it will cause them more harm than good because they don't have plan B. I used to tell those who capitalize on this statement to stop using such statement, because those who are not financially stable is supposed to work hard so as to enable them make a lot of money and start up something by themselves before looking into this statement.

When a person accomplishes something with intelligence without hard work, it can be presented very quickly and beautifully. But it is never possible to reach the brink of success without hard work. Therefore, by using various strategies according to the plan, hard work can be somewhat reduced. Yes, it is certain that, merely using intelligence can lead any person into trouble.

What do you think? Does any person not consider the economic aspect before being engaged in any institution or personal work? Of course, they take this into account. Even the desire to implement it does not hesitate to work hard. Ultimately, those who are not financially stable at all will never make tough decisions.

Smart work to me is simply taking advantage of modern approach to solve problems that would have required more rigorous and time consuming methods. Everyone obviously needs to work smart because it will save time and increase productivity. Some people mistake working smart to mean that you will just sit down and only use your brain but it goes beyond that level, before you get to the stage of sitting and directing others to do the hard work you will first do the hardwork by yourself to get established before focusing on working smart. We don't see many rich people working very hard physically today and people will say that they are working smart but they actually had to put in the physical, mental and intellectual work to get established before starting to relax and doing the thinking while hiring people to do the physically tasking parts. For example, a daily labourer has to work hard; he doesn’t have the ability to work smart, which is not applicable. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but there is a story that says the donkey surpasses all other animals when it comes to hard work. Yet, the lion is the king of the forest. Although the phrase is always there but for me the phrase "smart work is not hard work" is less appropriate because in the end we have to do both without having to make one as an opposition.

We have to keep working hard but that does not mean forgetting smart work because this can be one form of efficiency for us to get the job done quickly.
For example, here when we are in a marketing strategy for a product we will still be required to work hard in marketing the product but on the one hand now marketing does not have to be done door to door and that's where smart work can be done, marketing can be done in a more effective way by using social media and many more ways we can do so that in this case hard work is necessary but on the one hand we also have to have a smart working soul to streamline ourselves so that our work is completed.

Something like that, what works for you that's what I stand by, everybody can't play by the same rules, if everybody is working smart then we mightn't have some jobs anymore and most times, it's what people are running away from doing that gives the better payouts like boring jobs that pays well than the most smart jobs around.

Working smart shouldn't stop you from working hard but as you're doing that, still be smart about it and know how to utilize your time so you can accomplish more in less time as that gives you more room to do more work or use it to do something else that gives you more money because we actually need it to barely survive these days.

If your job requires you to walk then you can try running so you cover up more space while still keeping the same quality because that's important as it says alot for you without you realzing.

Well a person who wants to succeed needs to Work smart and hard because both helps one to succeed. but some people immediately they succeed, they claim to be smart and remove being hardworking as if hardwork signifies poverty. What they forget to understand is that behind every smart work there is hardwork. There should always be context that is attached to a phrase when it is being used and in the case of the usage of hard work, from an average persons point of view, it mostly entails that you are exerting your physical energy more and using less of your mental and intellectual property. that on it own can yield result but it will take a lot of toiling and stress before you can get the expected result.

These should not be separated from each other, but when both are maintained in you, hard work and smart work, then these two combined will keep you different and ahead of everyone else. Both are very much needed, you have to find the right place by using your intelligence and after that you have to manage that work properly through hard work. And so I think it is difficult to maintain any big success in the long run without the combination of these two.
It should be remembered that on the one hand, if you have a weakness, then that weakness can become a reason for failure for you, and this issue is very logical with business in real life. Even if you already have the money to start a business, then hire people to manage it and run thing remotely. You are still gonna spend a lot of time supervising the business, dealing with problems and taking responsibility when something goes wrong.  You have to make sure everything keeps running smoothly. That's still hard work.

Same with investing. It's smart work for sure, but finding something actually worth putting money into takes a ton of time researching, evaluating, and keeping tab on it. And besides, where is the money for investing even coming from if you are not working hard and saving in the first place?

So you wanna work smart, gotta start with working hard first. You wanna succeed, you need both.

Your idea about working hard and smart is wrong. Working hard is good, but working smart is better (if possible in your field and applicable to that particular process). I added the one in bracket so that you know that it's not all places that smart work would work, yet you can still be smart in everything.

A good example is two people trying to build a real estate empire that would cost $5m for a start. One has $200,000 and is earning $10,000 monthly, and due to the plan, he started working harder, but still could only make $20,000 monthly. This means it will take more time. But here comes another who is a socialite/extrovert and earn far less monthly, and has $0 capital. He decided to use his nature and connection, so he wrote irresistible professional proposals to about 20 individuals and companies. About 7 showed interest and accepted the best 1 or 2 offers. In a few weeks, he would have started executing the plans while the other guy still saving for years. This doesn't mean he will not work, but it's a leverage.

For me working smartly and working hard should go together.  The idea of working smart is for everybody but this aimed at one's personal goals and objectives. These two always work together because  working hard and working smartly helps produce a better result. Let me say for example if you're into business and you put in all the effort working just to produce a product that there will be no buyer that's just you working hard because you did not work smart, working smartly you would have produced a particular product that your audience would need and work towards that instead of wasting your efforts.

So it's not really right to say smart work is better than hard work. And it is even more wrong to think you have to choose one over the other.

They are two different thing, neither can replace the other. They actually complement each other. If you wanna succeed, you need both, mate.
