Is smart work really for everyone?

This depends entirely on the country you're in. If you're in a first-world country like the USA, even the simplest but hardest jobs provide enough money to survive, and if you do them every day, you save enough to pay for your things. Now, in a developing country, you have to have many jobs four or five and even then you feel like you don't have enough money. It depends a lot on where you live.

Besides, depending on where you are, if you're in a country like the USA and you have a profession and are lucky enough to get hired in that field, well, that's like the Holy Grail because everything improves in your life. In my country, I have two professions, but it's useless. In the USA or Europe it works, but those are countries that require you to have a degree from there, and studying at this point is like wasting time because what's needed is money, not education. My studies, at least for me, are over. I spent years at my university, and there's no point in continuing to study more. So sometimes there are things that sound logical but don't make sense in reality.

When we talk about working smart there are actually different categories to this and they are jobs that everyone can do, there are lots of freelance jobs that even people that are poor, average and in the middle class can do comfortably from the comfort of their homes, in that case you cannot really say smart work is not for everyone because there are ways to work smartly as someone that's coming up or building from scratch that can eventually be profitable in the long run, in a nutshell it all depends on the type of job.

it actually depends on a type of Job one is doing,  working smartly is not only doing only jobs, being diligent and knowing your job description is also a smart work.  In this era there's no job that doesn't require advancement, you have to train and improve in your area of specialition,  or you lose your job. Things are evolving and you have to follow the trend or you miss out. Working smart is but doing too much Is  an act of doing the extraordinary at your working place to increase productivity. In all you're doing,  be at your best even when no one is around to monitor you.

It depends on the kind of job. Some jobs give you the opportunity to work smart, while some require your physical efforts. If you do not know when to apply smartness and when to work hard, you might still fail.

Many people think that working smart means that you just think out an idea and get it done just in few minutes without having to strain yourself to get it done. Truly, all the sleepless nights, meetings, papers, coordinations, strict monitoring and every other activities put into making the idea a success still count as hardwork. Ofcourse at the end of the day, you still retire home stressed.  Both hard work and smart work are neccessary; it is better when you know how to apply them in areas where neccessary.
