Prayers or Technology?

I have watched a short YouTube video where the exact same man of God was saying that Nigeria as a nation is made to be prayer warriors not made to be a developed nation like others such as China and in a very funny manner, said we have no business with science and technology. He actually said, with full confidence, that all God wants from us is to preach the Gospel.

That's why a lot of persons in Nigeria are saying that some religious belief are the reason some person's are poor because they were being mislead by some preachers into believing only their manifestation of prayers instead of working hard for themselves. You can imagine how the people that brought religion in this country is living in paradise because of the development they have made in their countries while a man of God in Nigeria will be saying this, actually there are things you will hear from most preachers you will even began to wonder if they're actually seeing the direction the world is heading or even question their belief because I don't see what makes the country to be an only place for prayer warriors.

Nigerians religious beliefs is among the highest anybody can imagine and all round the globe, Nigerians are taking this prayer and religious teachings everywhere. Most times we forget the major situation on ground which is bad governance, a man-made problem orchestrated by wrong polls during elections. Instead of tackling the problem, they keep calling for national prayers instead of revolution. Let's say that the leaders are investing right into technology, most of the prayer points we have in Nigeria could have been solved by now. If leaders can provide security and basic infrastructures, citizens will have peace and they will even do their religion better without tying everything to prayer. So from the leadership side, it should be Technology first before prayer.
