Every person should create multiple sources of income. Its purpose is not limited to improving the standard of living. The advantage of multiple income is that it gives a person financial security. Especially if at some point one income source stops, he can continue to meet his living expenses very naturally from other income. And currently, due to inflation and other reasons, the standard of living is changing, expenses are increasing. So even if the salary does not increase, the expenses keep increasing. So everyone should create additional multiple income sources, from which a good amount of money will be earned.

if a person in a job, he can invest in addition to it or start a small business from which regular income will be generated. He should not invest in such assets , from which he will not be able to generate much income. The initial emphasis behind creating multiple assets should be given to creating multiple income sources in a sustainable way first and then diversifying different assets may be a good decision.
It’s so nice to read your thoughts on having multiple sources of income. There is, of course, one big “BUT.” Is it really that easy to create them? In reality, things aren’t as simple as they might seem at first glance. I ran into this many years ago. I learned all about it and got really excited about the idea. But when it comes to putting it into practice, it’s far from simple. All I can say is that it’s entirely possible. The thing is, it takes up practically all your time. There aren’t even many hours left for sleep. If your health is your top priority, then you face a dilemma that needs to be resolved: either choose multiple sources of income or sacrifice your health.

If you do not invest in things that will increase in value with inflation, then you will work until the day you die to try and keep your head above water.

Warren Buffett himself has a famous quote on the subject, "If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die."

This is a very real thing.  Inflation is as undefeated as Father Time.  The earlier in life you realize this and beginning shaping your life to benefit from it, the sooner you will become financially free.
I did a rough census on most of the retired salary earners around me and I realised that most of them all worked to survive during their active days and no one actually thought about making investments because according to some of them who I interacted with, "how will they invest when the money can not even feed a child". However, I think it is very important to know how you spend your earnings to accommodate investment. If you don't invest, retirement becomes a nightmare.

A person has to ask himself, what if I can not go to work tomorrow, will I be able to survive? If the answer is yes, then you're good but if it's no, then you need more work.

Salary increment is only a trap that makes you bury your dreams further and end up working to maintain same lifestyle.

Your reasoning is correct, and let’s also agree that every job has its time in life.
Up to the age of 45/50, it makes sense to look for a second source of income that allows you to save money to improve your standard of living, but beyond that age it loses some of its appeal because you will prioritise other things.
In my experience from when I was younger, this is worthwhile if it’s well paid; alternatively, you could develop specific skills that enable you to be well paid in your main job and not need a second income. Obviously, ignore anyone who wants to sell you books or methods of second incomes.

Exactly, and even at that if you decide to change lifestyle just you can adapt to the current to your current situation or how life is treating you as long as the costs of things keep rising or the economy keeps rising and no increase in salary definitely nothing will change dont know about another person o but to me nothing will change because the more you will have to spend no matter how you try to manage and money is not something that lasts this days that you will say you want to manage yourself and safe.
Of course, management is not enough, but self-control or discipline can help one to save and still take care of oneself. True, money doesn't last long in one's hand, especially when bills keep coming such as rent, food, etc. Though one can't get rich quick, it helps one avoid debt and avoid spending on unnecessary things that they will later regret. So, self-control and money management can make things easier when they work hand in hand.

Everyone of us has different ways of earning our income, not everyone has the same financial capabilities and responsibilities. This is why it is important that a people should learn how to invest at their prime days when they doesn't have much responsibilities like feeding a child and still has their utmost potential to try everything to improve their life situation.

Realizing that you need to invest; at the time you have responsibilities is not that good since you are limited on what you can do. People who live paycheck to paycheck should realize that there are still better opportunities for them, they just need to try and find it. Juggling extra work is sometimes necessary as a stepping stone if you have plans on investing. Perseverance is needed, opportunity comes along the way.

To be honest it's hard to just solely rely on the retirement benefit you can get from the government, it also varies from country to country, not every retirement benefit is enough to sustain yourself during your retirement.

Exactly, like you said, it's not always mismanagement. One can manage their money and still end up not having enough. Normally, that's life. The more one's income increases, the more their expenses also increase, and certainly, people will want to change their lifestyle to match their current pay, making it difficult for them to save. However, self-control is really important, as that will help them to save more and not to be carried away by the fancy things they see.

I think the perfect term for this is adjustment. Because I couldn't figure out any changes. If your income increases and your responsibilities also increases, then it is actually very important for you to learn how to adjust and adapt at the same time. How will money last when we have responsibilities to fulfill. In situations like this, we have to learn how to be contented with whatever we have. Because at this stage contentment is actually very important.

Managing does not mean that you will not use or spend your money. Of course money is meant for spending. But, managing is all about cutting down your expenses to ensure that you meet your essential needs or requirements. If you don't manage there's no way you will be safe. So it is important to spend according to our capacity, to avoid financial crises.

You can manage all the time because poor people have been doing this since the beginning, if they do not have a day's food, they manage and forget and this thing happens continuously. If we are talking about earning and keeping some part of it in our income, then this can be done easily, but the expenses are very high. Therefore, it is quite difficult to manage, but if you get used to it, you can do it much easier, for this you may have to suffer for some days. With this, you will be able to manage with less money at any time and that is why poor people have been managing for themselves since the beginning. Although it is difficult for a rich person, while a hardworking person gets used to such things. We should try to avoid wasting money and pay attention to this and think with some physical thinking.

Your reasoning is correct, and let’s also agree that every job has its time in life.

This is why we must work smart. If we rely solely on our own strength, we will inevitably face limitations as we age, especially when it comes to time. We only have 24 hours a day, and let's say we spend eight hours sleeping, that's all we have left.

If we work smart, we'll inevitably think about how to make money work for us, instead of us working for money. Yes, this isn't easy, and even getting a job is difficult. But that doesn't mean we can't do it, it just means the process may be very long, unless we have the privilege of being born into a wealthy family.

The salary trap @Tonimez mentioned even has a term: “lifestyle creep”. Economists need not be consulted to recognize it - just look around at those who have received promotions and are somehow more broke now!

It is nice to hear that you should invest when you are young and have few responsibilities. However, young people tend to earn the least. Asking the average 23-year-old on a starting wage to invest is pretty ridiculous. After paying for food and transport, there is barely any extra money lying around for investing. Building an emergency fund (three to six months’ worth of expenses) is the boring but necessary first step. Store this money somewhere easily accessible. Without it, the first emergency will force you to sell your investments at the worst possible time (effectively canceling out any gains, or worse).

There is a lot of pressure to have a side hustle, to work more in order to retire earlier. Side hustles can help, sure. But it can cost you your health.

Consider cash. Many people think having cash at home is safe. Inflation proves otherwise. Not investing is still a bet. And it is one you will lose.

If your current income doesn't give you the lifestyle that you so desire right now you either get more jobs to increase your income or you adapt to the lifestyle that you are currently living. The economy is bad and everyone is complaining but instead of complaining about life style alone it is better to do things that will change that particular situation if it is getting a better job or business then it will be best to do that and not just complain when nobody is coming to save you. In some countries some citizens do not have jobs some are homeless as a result of bad economy if you meet these people they just want what to eat, clothes and shelter they aren't looking for too much that's why I think people should focus on the more important things.
I’ve seen how people live in other countries. Or rather, how they survive. While we’re thinking about how to buy a new phone, they’re trying to figure out how to feed their children and clothe them. They can’t afford even a basic education because they simply don’t have the money. The roof over their heads is made of trash and whatever materials they can find. Many still don’t even have electricity. It’s terrible. It’s heartbreaking.

Would they like to find a job? Undoubtedly. But there aren’t any. They’re willing to take on any difficult work, but only a handful get hired. This is what the authorities—who do nothing but line their own pockets over and over again—should be paying attention to.

In short, it works by using our reason, but of course that explanation is not enough, so I will explain based on what I understand.

We must learn how to produce something without us sweating excessively, for example in the age of technology like this we should not be left behind and learn to technology that can provide us with income. In the crypto market for example, we can trade and it requires intelligence to understand trading. We can make extra income without having to sweat and we can trade flexibly.

To earn more money is never a problem how favourable is the economy where your earnings can afford all the costing and inflation rise on goods , commodity and others service that makes man comfortable that is the only way such earnings could be weigh to know if it's progressive or retrogressive, because earnings more more can check facts by doing but achievement towards those earnings where the reverse is the case it's just as simple as rotating in one round hole, earning more amount nothing when inflation is very high it even worse and hard to save even when stressed is double, when one earned more the results is best check by its achievement either by investment or balance on such personality account.

This brings up the perpetual issue between what ought to be and what actually happens. Yes, it would be easier for everyone if everyone had multiple income streams. How realistic is that? Practically not at all. For the most part, additional sources of income are achieved through additional active work rather than passive income, as is so popular to believe these days. And juggling multiple jobs leads to a fragmented focus, a loss of interest and motivation for other aspects of life, and eventual burnout.

All what you said is nothing but the truth, because I don’t understand why people always like talking about having a multiple source of income without even thinking how possible that is to some individuals. Here in my country, there are some people who work almost the whole day starting from 7am and sometimes till 6pm or later. And probably when they get home they will be very tired and just want to rest with the little hours available for them before preparing for the next day. The worst part is that these workers might have just one day off in a whole month.

So It's not always possible to expect such a person to find another job or venture into an online hustle when they have a little time to spare. No one is disputing the fact that extra source of income is not helpful, but we should also think about the time, energy and opportunities these set of people have.  The issue may not be that they don't want to make more money, but the responsibility they need to handle in a day is too much and they end up not having enough time for extra jobs.

Yes, exactly, because besides the desire and the understanding that multiple income streams will give you an advantage in financial terms, one also needs to take into account the realism of implementing such a plan. There are only 24 hours in a day, and we need to sleep at least 6 of them. Yes, one can take on a bunch of jobs, but how long will you last? I simply find myself in such a situation, and that is why I ask myself this question. Besides, I still do not have a feeling of stability and confidence, despite having several sources of income.

Will you be able to trade consistently and profitably over the long term? You need to understand that this is a high-risk endeavor. You’ll need intelligence not only for trading itself, but also to fully grasp all these activities. Should I even get started with this? Or maybe it’s not right for me? Is there another option? And so on... This is a smarter way to approach the thought process.
