Let me bring this for discussion: it’s no longer news that we have casinos which come here to promote themselves as No-KYC casinos, but they are KYC-compliant casinos. When a player uses such a casino without reading the terms and conditions to know if the slogan is just misleading or true and is later slapped with the requirement to provide a KYC document at the time of withdrawal, will the player consider the casino a scam or take full responsibility for not paying attention to details? That type of casino promoting themselves as no KYC is popular around here, and I have been among many members who have questioned them. I don’t agree with casinos using such a tactic. At the same time, we gamblers should not also believe everything we are being told during promotions; we should verify that information ourselves before. we agree with them, in such a case I can say is using a misleading statement to run promotion while the gambler is lazy enough not to cross check the policy if it align with what they preach.
If the casino actually uses a misleading statement in their promotion and then a gambler comes out to complain about the deceit, do you think it would still be okay to blame the gambler for not confirming before using the platforms? There are so many things we do not confirm before using and we really can't check everything because we have other things to do in real life so sometimes you just have to trust the site to be sincere. The above quote inspired the creation of the thread.

If any casino prominently highlight No KYC in its banner and forum promotion then it is evident that this is key part of its marketing strategy.
However when any player attempt to withdraw their winning, it withheld by citing a clause hidden in fine print on line 200+ of their Terms of Service, stating that Management reserves the right to request KYC at any time. I would call this deceptive marketing in plain language.

We have discussed about this before. On the thread, people posted that it is deceitful and which is truly deceitful. There are some gambling sites like that.
I also do not like gambling sites that allow deposits without KYC, but requires KYC for withdrawal. Such supposed not to happen. As long as you are KYC gambling site, KYC supposed to be mandatory for deposits also.

Regarding what Cantsay had to say.
Look, casino industry isn't your relative or any charity organization. You can't just blindly deposit your hard earned crypto and sit back!
In online gambling, simply saying I trust it is not enough. Placing blind trust without verification can ultimately harm you.
Just because any casino run deceptive promotion, it doesn't mean we can justify our own laziness.
If you don't take ten minute to check ToS or read review from other player when choosing any site then you will have to bear consequence of that mistake yourself.

Obviously is easy to know a fully decentralized crypto casino, this casinos doesn't require KYC for whatever reasons, but the responsibility is on the play to deal with low liqudities and Volumes since their have regulatory limitations because of their no license operations status., the kind of crypto no KYC casino that are promotional based can also be easily spotted. However when any player attempt to withdraw their winning, it withheld by citing a clause hidden in fine print on line 200+ of their Terms of Service, stating that Management reserves the right to request KYC at any time. I would call this deceptive marketing in plain language.
The players should take extra step to read their terms and conditions carefully to notice the spot where it stated that the team have the right to request for KYC verification from players at anytime, such statement should be treated as marketing and professional statements

Any serious minded gambling casino that want to stay for long in operation will not be deceitful in their campaign and promotions, it is either you are a kyc casino or the type that does not support it, gamblers are always interested in seeing a casino maintaining their integrities as well as being consistent with its over the time, because they find it a pride to continue with the use of such gambling casino when the can easily refer them to other gamblers for use based on their own experience with the casino.

Another thing that I have observed with these casinos proclaiming to be NoKYC and later, transit into a KYC casino during withdrawals is that, they will write it in their ToS that they can ask you for KYC any time especially, from law enforcement agencies but before you know it, after winning a substantial amount of money, they ask you for KYC.
I don't like such pattern of operation just be plain and transparent by asking for KYC before making deposit so that, gamblers will decide for themselves and not luring them to gamble in your gambling site with the banner of NoKYC when it's the opposite.

One thing I have come to know in this life is that, ignorance isn't an excuse and that's why it's pertinent for any new gambler on a new site, to take their time to go through the TOS before deposits are made, because when it's time to withdraw a substantial winnings and kyc requirements is suddenly demanded, the casino platform isn't to blame but the gambler who failed to do their due diligence and research before joining such a platform, irrespective of the marketing stunt that lured them in. To be forewarned is to be forearmed!

That is what most casinos do, they start with a headliner of no KYC because they know it is a selling point for them whilst hiding clauses in the terms of service has a funny KYC policy which evidently signals a demand for documents upon withdrawal which must be met by Amy player who wants to withdraw from their platform. Casinos that don't request for KYC sometimes do not even use such as a selling point for their services it is only players that discovers it a commend them for such act.

I think here on the forum we know better... No-KYC casinos are rare! These days, most casinos have a "We have the right to ask for KYC for any reason we can think of" rule! So we see something more than promotional banners & pure marketing... But I guess people outside the forum & new players/people in crypto are not aware of hidden tricks in the ToS. I'm the guy who doesn't like to read those things, but after making too many mistakes, the first thing I do is read the bonus rules before depositing... More than once, I got "trapped"! I didn't blame the casino... For sure, I criticized their "unfair" rules, but I didn't raise any flags... I thought it was my fault! But some people have a different opinion... So this will be one more "never-ending" discussion.

I don't see why anyone in their right mind would actually choose the latter option where he/she takes full responsibility for not checking out the T&C thoroughly. I'll keep it simple. No matter what a site states, be prepared to submit KYC at any time.
There are a handful of truly zero KYC crypto gambling sites currently like Polymarket etc and even those are decreasing in number with time. This whole KYC drama is a never ending debate though what I stated is a fact sadly.

If the casino already stated in their terms of services that KYC could be required at any point and then the gambler failed on his or her part to go through the terms of services to be able to be conversant with the terms of operations, the gambler has no right to call such a casino a scam because the casino was transparent from the beginning but a failure on the side of the gambler has lead to his/her assumptions. The casino is only a scam, if they never stated anywhere that they could demand KYC at any point.

It's deceptive but at the end of the day it's not illegal, as long as they stated in their terms and conditions that they can ask for KYC anything then they can get away with most of the complaints about them being misleading, you might have joined the casino because of the non KYC promise but you also clicked on the 'accept terms and conditions' button and at that point you are responsible for anything you do that's not in line with their terms and conditions. After all the ad says you can gamble without KYC, it definitely didn't say anything about withdrawal.

Well the thing is simple when a no KYC casino asks for your ID in order to verify your withdrawal, then that's just a misleading advertisement just to draw the attention of users. But then the only time you will consider it a scam is when they start using the KYC verification as an excuse to hold withdrawal or perhaps freeze players' accounts, then you can easily just consider it as a scam. Still I believe it's wrong to always jump into conclusions in cases like this, but then if after the withdrawal you feel the casino is no longer convenient for you as a gambler, then you can easily just stop using it and find another one, after all utility comes first. That said I don't really think anyone is at fault, but then we can always blame the casino for not being open at first, so yeah, that's all..............

If KYC is not mentioned in the terms and conditions, if it is said that KYC should be done before withdrawing money after creating an account, then it must be assumed that it is a fraudulent campaign and that people have shown interest in creating an account by showing no KYC in order to attract them initially and then after creating an account, they are forced to do mandatory KYC. There is no mention in the terms and conditions but KYC has to be done inside, this means that there is no match between the work and the terms, which means that they have definitely opened a fraud business.

Look, people need to understand that any custodial platform can block withdrawal and ask for KYC. And since casinos fall under this category, anybody playing in a casino should accept within themselves that they can be asked to identify themselves anytime, irrespective of how the casinos advertises itself.
It is kind of similar to using those centralized exchanges that didn't make KYC mandatory, you just knew they could request it at anytime, however, nearly all of those exchanges have revoked that policy.

I also do not like gambling sites that allow deposits without KYC, but requires KYC for withdrawal. Such supposed not to happen. As long as you are KYC gambling site, KYC supposed to be mandatory for deposits also.
That which you don't like and feel comfortable with, only a few casinos actually offer such a service and if you are to go with that, then you have very limited casinos that you will actually end up using. Some won't ask you for KYC verification immediately if you want to withdraw, but they will when they consider it necessary as long as they don't advertise their self as no KYC I will always have it at the back of my mind I can be asked for it anytime.

when everyone reads the phrase “no kyc,” they first understand it the same way. while there’s no need to debate whether casinos are justified in their rules, i think it’s a slogan that misleads consumers. but it’s not just casinos that do it. almost every company who wants to market something does the same. who knows how many ads i’ve seen with misleading slogans that require us to examine the fine print?
in my opinion, it’s better for the consumer to know that there’s no kyc until at least the withdrawal stage.

Experienced this exact thing on a very popular casino on this forum a couple of months back and the most annoying part of it is at first when I started using them I literally didn't have any KYC information there however the moment they noticed my deposits and use started increasing they implemented it. I literally had to delete them and I'm never using them I played stacked up some balance and they were asking for detailed KYC before they can release my withdrawal.

It depends. If a casino disguise it's content of kYC compliant to make a customer believe it is kYC free then that is deceit. But if it is conspicuous enough and a customer didn't read it, ignorance will not be an excuse. Personally, if I have to encounter a casino that is not clear on their stand about kYC, I will let them go before I have winning because they already shown element of scam. I like to play in casino that clearly state kYC so that I can make up my mind to clear that up even before winning.
