VargaMesh Merged SOLO Mining

Mine BTC + VMESH simultaneously with the same SHA-256d hashrate

https://mergedsolo.vargacoin.com/

Overview

VargaMesh Merged SOLO is a SHA-256d merged-mining pool that allows miners to submit the same mining work toward both:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • VargaMesh (VMESH)

The goal is simple: miners can continue mining Bitcoin while simultaneously participating in the VargaMesh network without splitting their hashrate between two separate mining processes.

VMESH uses AuxPoW / merged-mining technology, allowing compatible Bitcoin SHA-256d work to also be evaluated for valid VMESH blocks.

How Merged Mining Works

Your ASIC miner submits normal SHA-256d mining work to the pool.

The same work can be used for both networks:

Code:
ASIC Miner
    |
    | SHA-256d work
    v
VargaMesh Merged SOLO Pool
    |
    +----> Bitcoin block candidate
    |
    +----> VargaMesh AuxPoW block candidate

Your hashrate is therefore not divided between BTC and VMESH.

A share that is not sufficient for a Bitcoin block may still be sufficient for a VMESH block, depending on the current network difficulties.

SOLO Mining Model

This is a SOLO mining service, not a traditional proportional or PPS pool.

That means:

  • There are no guaranteed payouts.
  • Rewards depend on actually finding valid blocks.
  • A valid BTC block is paid according to the configured BTC payout identity.
  • A valid VMESH block is handled according to the corresponding VMESH merged-mining payout mapping.

As with all solo mining, variance can be very high.

Stratum Connection

Use the connection information shown on the pool website:

Live Pool Statistics

The pool provides live operational information including:

  • Connected miners / workers
  • Pool hashrate
  • Accepted shares
  • BTC and VMESH network information
  • Block candidate / block status
  • Payout identity information
  • Merged-mining status

Why BTC + VMESH Merged Mining?

Merged mining allows SHA-256d miners to contribute security to another compatible network without having to dedicate separate hashrate to it.

For Bitcoin miners, this means the same mining work can potentially find:

  • a BTC block,
  • a VMESH block,
  • or both independently depending on the submitted work and network difficulty.

It also gives VargaMesh additional network security by allowing existing SHA-256d mining hardware to participate through AuxPoW.

Supported Hardware

Any compatible SHA-256d miner capable of connecting to a standard Stratum endpoint can potentially be used, including devices such as:

  • Bitaxe
  • Avalon miners
  • Antminer SHA-256 models
  • WhatsMiner SHA-256 models
  • other compatible SHA-256d ASIC miners

Important

Mining is probabilistic.

There is no guarantee that a miner, regardless of hashrate, will find a BTC or VMESH block within any particular time period.

The pool does not advertise fixed mining returns or guaranteed profitability.

Feedback, technical testing and miner reports are welcome.

If you are testing the merged-mining pool with Bitaxe, Antminer, WhatsMiner, Avalon or other SHA-256 hardware, feel free to post your results here.
