Seriously, even if we see it from a purely mathematical perspective, this would increase the "circulating" BTC supply only by about 5-7% (depending which "lost bitcoins" we include).

According to the Quantitative Theory of Value, the value would go down these 5-7%. Nothing that strange in the Bitcoin world. And even if he sold them, he can't sell them twice, so after the event it is likely that the BTC price will recover fast.

It would be a crazy event for people who follow Bitcoin for sure.  Initially I think it would cause a massive selloff as investors worry the coins had been hacked and were going to be dumped on the market.  It would create a lot of publicity though and you know what they say about publicity...  Maybe long term it would be a good thing.  Hard to say exactly, but I would assume the initial reaction would be panic.

To be honest this will be really a concerning point like almost from last two decades Satoshi wallet are off but if he move his Bitcoin then definitely it will be an distracted sound for all of us. Even if small amount was also moved then probably it will also be an trouble shoot. Because people will got mentally numb like immediately they will jump for sell even broker will take ahead form us and this selling pressure will be absolutely bizarre.....

Right now nothing seem publicly but if there is anything happens or even seem then definitely we all will be got F**ked. However let's see what happens next.

That's a BTC, which is about 5% of the current circulating supply, if I'm correct.
In economical terms, there's no way for it not to be noticeable, but I don't see it causing any catastrophe, since Bitcoin has once absorbed a bigger percentage of the supply before through miners' decisions and sometimes through a dormant wallet that suddenly woke up.
The major problem i see here is the psychological impact on the market; I mean, how some people will deal with the shock, and the narrative that comes with it will later move the market since most BTC holders treat Satoshi's coins as something that's permanently lost.

Yes, it is possible, but i believe the day it happens would be one of the interesting days in Bitcoin’s history.

All I can see is a huge drop in the market price for sure, seeing that this Bitcoins is still active would give a lot of FUD in the market, so for sure a lot of investors might resolve to selling because it is expected to have a huge drop on the market price. Also it is going to be a huge history because it confirmed that Satoshi was still alive or something like that since someone still has access his Bitcoins. Or probably maybe it is drain or hacked maybe?

It might just be a FUD but long term since Bitcoin is already stablished a huge foundation around the globe, it might still recover pretty easily but I just doesn't know how it is going to react knowing that Satoshi Bitcoin is moving, since there might be possible sell out on that, just seeing it for sure a lot of analyst might say difference things about that. It is difficult to say but for sure a huge drop is going to happened because of the FUD.

I think sooner or later those coins will move. Don't ask me how, why or when. From a certain point of view, it would be like seeing an untouched mountain getting desecrated, a purely "sacred" side of it. From an economic point of view, it could bring some initial devaluation, but also a lot of frenzy on the other side. Just imagine the headlines on every crypto news site: "SOMEONE MOVED NAKAMOTO'S BITCOINS! IS NAKAMOTO ALIVE???". That alone would attract so much attention that it would stir up the whole market. Very interesting scenario to think about.

Actually, I have imagined a lot about these, no one knows the identity of Satoshi. He disappeared after creating Bitcoin and many have tried to find out his identity but no one has found him. Now we know that Satoshi's wallet has 1.1 million BTC which is 5.238% of the total supply. So if BTC is moved from Satoshi's wallet then it will definitely create panic in the minds of Bitcoin holders and of course it can have a negative impact on the market.
It is possible but after such a long time when BTC has not been moved from Satoshi's wallet, so the possibility of it in the future is low.

The thing is that this argument has been going around for years and yet we haven't seen it moved by anyone specially Satoshi. There were a lot of claims obviously but we all know that they are fake because they can't even sign a message with those Bitcoin address.

But for the sake of argument, yes, it will have a big impact on the market. There will be a lot of FUD and for sure known personalities that are against Bitcoin will come up from their hibernation.

It would surely raise a lot of speculation on whether the move was orchestrated by the real Satoshi or someone has gained access to his stash. Also, moving doesn't mean selling right? Regardless, it would still create a massive pump or dump, depending on what the market sentiments/reactions towards that news.

The short term will feel brutal I believe. Not necessarily because all of them were sold, but because there will be a massive amount of panic selling or fud in general. When a lot of your community live inside social media, it's hard not to react negatively if you get bombarded with fud post from so many people. Even if the people in the forum act rationally, I bet we'll have to deal with doomposting like crazy.

Then again, not like we're free from it anyway, crypto or not.

Why panic if that is only a "move"? It has no impact on the market unless it is sold. Well, some may speculate and some people may panic, but that is on them. As long as there is no selling happening, it should not affect the market and it will not increase the supply.

But if that total Bitcoin will be sold, sure thing it will result in a huge dump,

1) Its Satoshi selling, which could be seen as a loss of trust.
2) That 1 million Bitcoin is like x2 of the average daily trading volume, so that's really huge.

The small sell by Michael Saylor's Stractegy this year attracted so much attention, and the price dropped. The move of  Satoshi's coins might cause more panic, and many people would dump. My prediction is that the price would recover after some time. Bitcoin has survived some hard times, like the ban in China.

While it is true that the coins will be moving. It does not necessarily imply that Satoshi is selling coins. The first thing I would be looking at would be the transactions that follow the initial transaction. To see if the BTC were simply moved to another address. Split into multiple addresses. Or sent towards an exchange, etc. It was that characteristic which might be telling us more than the movement. A transaction would not be enough to determine if Satoshi really maintains control of the coins or if somebody else has obtained the keys. That follow up evidence would likely have a huge impact on the market reaction.

The market would be shaken to the core. There'll certainly be a massive sell-off. There'll be panic. There'll be all kinds of FUD, for sure. But all this is just an initial reaction. The market would eventually return to normal, especially after realizing Bitcoin is beyond the control of its creator.

First off, those coins aren't sitting in one single wallet. It is actually around 22,000 separate 50 BTC block rewards tied to the Patoshi mining pattern.
