You are very wrong because Rupple is indeed an enemy of Bitcoin, it takes important parts of Marketcap away from Bitcoin and Garlinfhouse knows it very well how dangerous Rippel is for Bitcoin.
First off, you are still making the same mistake other people in the thread have corrected. Ripple is the company that created and own the coin. The coin is called XRP. So if you are talking about the coin, you should say "XRP". It's when you're talking about the company that you can say "Ripple"
Secondly, I'm sorry but "taking important parts of market cap away from bitcoin" is not how you measure an enemy or threat to Bitcoin. A coin is a threat only when it has better features than bitcoin, and when I mean better features, I don't just mean faster confirmation time or lower fees. I'm talking about the whole ecological set-up and security of Bitcoin.
By your logic, then every coin out there is a threat to Bitcoin because they all take "parts of the market cap" away from Bitcoin. It's funny because XRP's market cap is about 3% of Bitcoin's market cap, and this is at a point when Bitcoin is relatively low. How do you not see that XRP is in no way a danger to bitcoin? If I may ask, in what way do you think XRP can be a danger to Bitcoin?
