He is really working for his country, Burkina Faso, and his people are happy with his style of leadership, a type that cares about the common people; he puts them first. What he is doing benefits both ordinary citizens and the wealthy/politicians, and I wonder why people are trying to assassinate him. African leaders don’t like him because he is a military officer, but as long as he is doing the right thing and his government is the type that puts Burkina Faso first.

I don’t really care about civilian or military governments, but what I care about is good governance. Whatever type of government that is in power should be willing to serve the common citizens.

I know those who are against him and wants him dead won't stop making attempts to assassinate him.  Even if they finally succeed in assassinating in one day he has already created a legacy that can never be forgotten.

What got me angry with the West is that they always say that we Africans are not capable of holding our resources that is why they are always around to make use of it. This is a wake up call for the remaining African nations because it is very unfortunate to see what has been given to us by Almighty Allah taking away from our land without any compensation. The main test is what will happen when the gold is being processed. Ibrahim Traore and a few others have practically demonstrated the theory of Karl Marx about the Bourgeoisie and the proletariat where he said there would will be a time where the Proletariat who are at a disadvantage politically, economically and socially will rise against the Bourgeoisie who are more advantageous when it comes to the aforementioned advantages to say enough is enough and they cannot afford to take the pressure or the oppression any longer. Ensuring that resources are processed within the country is the beginning of economic prosperity. The value chain of processing this gold would create jobs, improve skills, and bring more profits. The Western media would always paint a negative picture of what is happening in Burkina Faso; however, information from within the country has shown that there has been a massive investment in infrastructure. The beauty of it is that the government is using local companies to execute these projects.

We in Africa see Ibrahim Traore as a role model because he is focused on pleasing the people rather than colonial powers. The story of this leader in Burkina Faso intrigues me. It's hard to filter what is true from what is propaganda. The concept of being most autonomous as possible and to stop exporting raw materials to manufacture them inside the country is great and an example another countries should follow, but at same time, it's hard to measure how efficient this regime is being, especially regards the security aspect.

It's said more than 50% of the territory isn't controlled by the official forces of the country, rather they are under control of terrorist groups. Meanwhile, the government is being ineffective recovering such territories and keeping the population safe. They even created a national militia composed of free volunteers, but since they aren't well trained, they are being smashed by the terrorists. At least, that is what I've been reading.
