So, investing in litecoin and stable coins in altcoins can be good.

Sorry, are you aware of what you’ve typed, mate?

That might be true if the other option were Litecoin (LTC), but for stablecoins? I don’t think stablecoins are meant for investment, LOL. If I had the chance to invest in another PoW coin, I don’t think I would choose Litecoin (LTC), lately I’ve noticed quite a bit of hype surrounding Monero (XMR).

I really hope that was just a typo. If not, that's the worst investment advice I've ever heard. and I've heard plenty. hahaa.

As for which alt to pick, I reckon everyone should DYOR and choose based on their own criteria.

Don't ape in just because someone else said so, everybody's criteria and risk appetite are different.

Take me, other than Btc I'm not into any other Pow coins since I do not see much upside left in them. Hehe.

That doesn't mean they can't pump, they just don't fit my investment thesis. Tongue

If you do not go for the Jackpot, Litecoin could be the best conservative investment in the long term (with a ten-year horizon), carrying a relatively low level of risk - no Black Swan needed (its price relates to BTC price 1:400 now but value about 1:30).
However, I would prefer to start with DCA for now, and make a larger one-off investment once the stock market bubble has already burst. In this case, an average purchase price of $10 per LTC is a realistic goal.

An altcoin making it past the 10 year mark doesn't mean it'll last another 10 or longer.

Everyone's entitled to their view but imo betting on altcoins for the long haul is a pretty unwise move, especially over a 10 year horizon like you mentioned.
LTC may seem more reliable than other altcoins. But that doesn't make it a safe investment or mean it has much upside going forward. A coin's longevity is no guarantee of return. Do not mistake an older coin for one worth holding for next 10 year.

I think when he said investing in stable coins, he meant using stable coins to invest in litecoin. That is the far most explanation I can think about. If not, investing in stable coins is foolishness and should be stopped immediately. Yes stablecoins like USDT give us some profit earning gap if we become a P2P merchant but can't be treated as a long term investment. Price is always going to stay in that range so how can anyone expect to make profits in long run from these stable coins?

And a lot of users now have similar thesis including me. I just do not find LTC fit for my portfolio so I prefer to stick out. I did have LTC in my bucket for a long time but the profits kind of disappointed me so I decided to kick it out of my portfolio.
