Privacy Data Coin (PDC)

Privacy Data Coin is a live confidential mainnet. A wallet transfer hides the sender, the receiver, the amount, and the asset type. Privacy is the default path of the protocol, not a switch in the wallet.

There is no premine. Proof of work is RandomARQ. Proof of stake is Zarcanum. Blocks, assets, aliases, and escrow are part of the same chain.

What a wallet transfer hides

  • Receiver. The published Px address does not land on the chain. The output is a one-time stealth address.
  • Sender. d/v-CLSAG hides the real input among decoys: 10 by default, 15 after hard fork 4.
  • Amount. The value stays in a Pedersen commitment. Bulletproofs+ proves the transaction without printing the number.
  • Asset. The asset id is blinded, so native PDC and a user token look the same on a wallet transfer.
Staking uses the same sealed path. After height 100, Zarcanum keeps the staked amount in a commitment. The odds follow the stake. The balance is not published.

Also in the core

  • Confidential assets. Issuance, mint, and burn are explicit. A normal transfer is not.
  • Aliases. A short name can stand in for an address. The registration fee is burned. A public short name is at least 6 characters.
  • Escrow and marketplace offers in the core.
  • No separate privacy mode and no approval to run a node, mine, or stake.
