Some critics have claimed that a cryptographically relevant quantum computer (CRQC) could one day destroy Bitcoin, The theory is simple, a powerful enough quantum machine could reverse engineer secret private keys from public keys, allowing hackers to steal funds and falsify transactions.

Is this something we have be worried about?
In my honest opinion, I can't say for certain whether or not the threat of a quantum computer destroying bitcoin is real, but one thing is that theres been quite a hype around this subject across social media platforms.

But here is the truth, if it happens that quantum computers are real and the threat against bitcoin is also real, when they finally arrive, I think for most people, there will be much more important things to worry about than worry about bitcoin, for example, banks, governments databases and so on, and this is because whatever can break bitcoin can break anything.

Erase your mind off it, everyone is talking about Quantum as if it's going to come from a alien, where humans can't tell the time or the date it will happen, Quantum computers are man made, we are the builder and we know the dangers of the Technology, if the world isn't ready for the dangers why built and release the technology? The problem isn't the Quantum itself, it's people like You OP making a big deal out of Quantum computer.
If OP have only limited knowledge about quantum computing, surely he will worry on this. Indeed, its considered a threat to global cybersecurity and modern digital cryptography but that kind of threat can be prevented. That's why we have to DYOR and learn how to upgrade the system and be aware of its data protection methods because this is the only way where we can prevent the security risks of quantum computing.
