Some people are professional business people, this are those that have long years of experience skills and capital that build up over time, so those are called business men or women

We also have some serious of people that jump into business because they have the capital to do so; these people basically lack experience in most cases and the end in failure like the one you point out in this story, and one noticeable feature of those kinds of business people is how they often jump from one business to another.

This is normal, that is life. You will see some people that will do a business and make it from it. You will see people that will first suffer before later the business will boom. You will see a successful business that will go into bankruptcy just like what was almost happened to Elon Musk in the past. That is just life. jack of all trade and master of none has no business doing business,  in business you must focus on the one you have knowledge about and can make a good money for you. Jumping on difference business because others are making money without knowledge of such business will lead to failure and that's what your friend experienced in his business.

Business is for those that have the time to do it and have the resource to keep it up, business is timing and you have to give,It time to grow, business required patience,  some people want it grow today today. And their u hunger for quick money cause them failed businesses.

I don't think the kind of business is the problem here.

He is not patient enough to see where the business grows into. Bitcoin is an investment and investment should be seen from a long term angle. No business grows in a short period, they have need time for growth to occur.

The problem here is the person, he has to look inward. Business has turned alot of people into millionaires. Not because they were lucky but because they were patient enough to see it to some extent.

People always have the love to start up business but they may not have the Charisma to keep the business running for long time, and yes people do clamors for additional source of income where they would start going into different businesses just for them to keep income coming. Many would do all it takes them but, are somehow being distracted because already they have no business idea in regards to the type of business they are jumping into. One thing some people fail to understand about business is that, it's always difficult in the beginning after setting it up a d you need to be patient with the business in order for it to grow overtime with much effort from your side. If you think that in the beginning of your business, it's gon be rossy and you will make huge profit, you are wrong and wouldn't do well in that business.

A business is like planting a tree and allow it to grow without expecting to gain anything in the initial stage. I understood what you mean by the thread's body, and not the actual question you asked. The right question could be rephrased to: Is business fitting for everyone?

...and the answer is No! Business is good, but are you good for business? Again, you might be good in a business or some businesses, but are all businesses fitting for you? People should understand themselves and the business they are into so that they can plan and act better.

To some too, it's their natural qualities, it might not be fitting for the business, and to others, it might be financial incapability or lack of financial power. Also, the location of some people could be killing the business. There are many factors to be weighed in this context.

First of all, everyone must not venture into business and not every business owner will succeed in their business. The reason why some people jumps from one business to another is simple. They are not skilled in a particular business and they also like trending businesses. Any business they get the idea that it is becoming the talk of the town, that is the business they will prefer. Such people are very unstable in their business because since they ventured into that business without trainings, it will become boring for them especially when the patronage starts falling. We have many confused people in the society that are not self oriented, such people will always prefer to do what others are doing without being creative about it.

Business is actually for everyone who can maintain and will be consistently improving their business, although, many people tried but failed, they usually don’t have luck or probably have no better plan for themselves because if you are trying to venture into business, you will have to do some research about the business, know its disadvantages and also know how it will be useful to the community so that you will know your target customers; if you did that, you will hardly leave the business if you make the right choice.

But the main problem with people is that, once they have money, they will feel like they can start any business they like just because they have money; they will not bother to do some background check about the business, that is why their business do fail sometimes, but if they also pass through due process, they will hardly change business form time to time. Does he have skill or a degree on how to run a business? The only way someone can effectively run a business and flourish is only if they learn how to run a business by being an apprentice to a successful business person/trader or by attending school, learn and acquire the degree of business management.

In a situation where someone doesn't acquire any form of education to gain the knowledge on how to start and grow a successful business, then the person is already planing to fail. Failure in business comes from different factors and one of the factors is lack of knowledge. If this person you are talking about wants to achieve success in their business, let them learn all the necessary things needed to run their their desired business.

 I have as well seen so many local businesses that failed in my community, lack of knowledge was the basic cause and other factors such as poor management skill. Business is not for everyone, that's how to put it.

Personally I feel business are too diverse and options are plentiful that one can choose, tailored to one's ability, I think the problem with your friend is that he hasn't found one that is excellent in. I have always been an advocate of salary earners but with how easy some business is, you can tackle both, earn your thousands of dollars in salary and still open a business as a side hustle. No, business is not for everyone, especially who don't have the patience to keep it running even if you are not making profits. Because some businesses may take a decade to become established then you will see the constant business every month.

But it is a wide matter, the answer changes depending on the business and the size of the business and what the expectation is of the person who wants to become one.

If one simply think that they need to run their own business because they feel that working for someone is like a slave and having one will gives them complete freedom to choose their working hours then they don't have a clue about running a business successfully.

Business isn't for everyone. It's for people who have developed skills to manage and maintain a business running smoothly. There are people who simply prefer working as employees, without taking extra duties and appointments businesses' owners have to take. It's not an easy task to be a business owner, as it's quite stressful and involves different roles, including to work as an employee too, therefore, it demands a lot of time from the individual.

Business i know is the one of the most difficult activity to get involved in, though it looks simple and easy to manage but without business knowledge it always ends in disaster or in regret.
All may love and want to benefit from the benefits of business just as they think but fails to understand that if not properly managed it must definitely end in disaster. ​Well since what you said wasn't real detailed enough, I would just go with possibilities in the sense that I like to believe your friend might actually be venturing into business because he is trying to be like other businessmen and women without knowing the risk and the effort that need to be put in to it.And secondly he might probably not be patient enough, so each time he undergoes loss in his items or he sees that folks are yet to know him too well, he doesn't wait before venturing into another busy.in most cases, doing stuff like that can actually kill any chances of success because folks will start feeling like he isn't serious.So my advice to him is that he should go for something that he likes doing and also have patience. Starting a business is more than just saying you want to get it started, a lot of people have tried and failed not because others succeeding are better but there are little things that they are not getting right. A business is meant for everyone but at the same time not everyone can start a business. If you don't have the discipline, patience and also financial management necessary to start a business whatever business you start up would always collapse. Of Course not!! Only those who have the ability to and capacity to should be in business or maybe whoever that is not supposed to be in business are the people who customers are always looking for to patronize because they often make regrettable mistakes.

However, in my way of life, business is learnt and years like 5 to ten years are spent serving in order to learn business. So it’s as simple as that if you can’t go this long to learn no need to venture into it, that is based on where I come from.

In the quest of trying and failing to get it right a lot of people don't seem to realize that they have to do something else. I know to succeed one has to fail in some cases but a lot of people fail due to a particular mistake that they don't seem to fix and In the long run this is what makes them bankrupt completely. There is a difference between failing and learning from your mistakes and doing something blindly without having any direction. Sometimes starting up a business isn't the first step for everyone, they fail to build a structure or foundation which is getting the required capital they need through a skill or a job, from one they jump straight to five. This nonsequencial movement is what makes people fail in business.
