BTCC Exchange — Unlawful Account Freeze & False "Market Manipulation" Accusation

What happened:

On 19 August 2026, my KYC-verified BTCC account (UID: flb7cd) was
suspended without explanation. Approximately 7,800 USDT became
inaccessible. I was logged out of my account and could not withdraw.

After weeks of template responses from support, BTCC finally alleged
"market manipulation" and cited clauses 8.6 and 15.1 of their User
Agreement. But the facts are the opposite of manipulation:

1. My single trade after re-depositing funds was closed at a LOSS
(negative PnL). There was no profit to manipulate.

2. The instrument was a liquid altcoin perpetual — not an illiquid
micro-cap. The order book was normal, with no spread anomalies or
liquidity gaps. The position was ~7,800 USDT — too small to move
a liquid market.

3. BTCC cites clause 15.1, which is titled "Downtime and Maintenance"
and concerns platform availability — NOT market manipulation.

4. BTCC previously allowed a full withdrawal from this same account.
It now retroactively claims the account was manipulative based on
one subsequent LOSING trade.

I have submitted a formal dispute notice demanding evidence, but BTCC
has provided no transaction IDs, no timestamps, no methodology, and no
indication of whether any portion of my balance is considered non-disputed.
Their own 15-business-day response period expired on 9 September 2026.

I am now pursuing complaints with UOKiK (Poland), GIIF (Poland),
the Polish Financial Ombudsman, and the National Bank of Georgia, and
have provided the full correspondence to crypto media.

They have 3 representatives on this forum and an announcement thread that was created on May 29, 2018, but was locked. Here are the profiles of the representative for this strange exchange:

Based on this information, you can already see that finding a solution on this forum will be futile; however, at least your thread will serve as a warning to others in the future. I honestly cannot understand why you chose to use this exchange when you could have done some research beforehand you would have discovered a lot and avoided using it. For instance, look at Trustpilot, where you posted two accusations of a scam against them one on September 12th and the other on September 22nd yet they never replied to you. And look at this:

They didn't respond. Considering the amount of money is very high and there are many other cases reported on Trustpilot, with the most recent one involving an even larger sum than this $12,000 I am referring to this case:

I highly doubt they’ll resolve this issue. It seems to me that this exchange is making money from these shady schemes; unfortunately, people don't do their research before using a site, so they end up using scam sites and losing money. I hope your complaint with UOKiK, the GIIF, and the National Bank of Georgia leads to a resolution.

Had OP taken the time to research the platform, maybe he would have discovered a lot that was just uncovered now by Slow death. It is not that there are no reliable platforms, but we must search to get one that is more reliable than many that are available online. Despite all these complaints, I don't think there is any possible means of getting recovery back for what they have done, since they have already stated their reasons why it happened that way.
