First of all, I would like to thank @Obim34 for organizing this beautiful competition. I am a new member to this forum. Seeing this competition organized to celebrate Nigeria's 66th Independence Day, I also got interested in drawing a picture. I know that there are certain rules for participating in the competition, but my intention is not to win any prize. I just want to show the love for the country and the importance of freedom through my drawing.

There is a competition to celebrate the 66th anniversary of my country's independence, and I feel very sad that I cannot participate in it.

So I have a small request to the organizer, can I get permission to share my drawing here with everyone outside the award competition? If there is any problem with the rules of the competition, I will definitely respect the decision of the organizer.  Although this is against the rules, I apologize if this request has offended you.

Unfortunately, you have to achieve the rank of a full member to be able to participate in the contest organized by Obim34.
I also have the intention of participating, but for now, I'll have to wait until I achieve the required rank to participate.
Hopefully, he will consider the request to allow members of a lower rank to participate.

For obvious reasons, all ranks less than full members were excluded from participating in the contest, the rule stands. Stay in touch with the forum and grow your rank, hopefully we will be doing the third edition, with more prize rewards and sponsorship.

You can share your craft here on this particular thread and not in the thread qualified participants are submitting.

This might be as a ruslt of not reading the instructions that govern the contest, because since i was introduced to this community i noticed that almost all the contests within the local board has the ranks at which it always starts with, so never be the less, OP i want bring it to your attention and i know it means nothing but i just feel saying it here because those name is been arranged according to how we posted our art, and if you watch on the table of contest, you will see that I'm the second person that posted his independence art contest and I'm noticing that Queen Julie has moved my name to 10 in the table, and i know that my own art doesn't meet up the stands of any participate but for the reason of taking my time to draft the art myself, please look into it because i having beginning to reason that Queen Julie has casted her vote on me before the day kept for voting.

Since you have clearly explained everything, there is nothing to say here, but the number of participants in the competition seems a little low. So far, everyone who has participated is making very good designs.

You can share your craft here on this particular thread and not in the thread qualified participants are submitting.
Then that's good, because those who really want to do art by their own choice can make art and post it here if they want.

I appreciate you organizing this with your own funding, but if anyone wants to sponsor here, will you accept it? I think it would have been better to increase the number of winners to five instead of giving prizes to three people. It would also be good to give $10 each to the 4th and 5th persons. I just shared my own opinion. If you consider this matter then maybe it will happen.

First of all thanks you for your wonderful works and great initiative. As the winner 🏆 of previous edition and first edition, seeing now that they excluded member rank to participate was quite unfortunate although I understand that you must have had your reasons which we all respect.

I have been very busy but I think I will be free this week and I will start cooking up something special maybe to try and retain my crown 👑 as the winner of the contest for twice in a row 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️, I mean it would crazy and also at the same time a wonderful feat for me but seeing all the works already submitted I will need to do a pretty damn art to come close of thinking of winning this edition.

Thank you once again Obim34 and everyone contributing to make this contest active

Hold on to your horses guys, cause am about to blow up the joint 😁😁

The display list has been updated to the latest post. Feel free to draw my attention if any artwork isn't displayed yet, unintentionally.

Obim34 two users did not meet the contest requirement. I think they should be eliminated.

I was not eligible for this campaign and could not participate in the Naija Independence Art Contest. But after seeing your post here, I felt like trying to do some art by myself. From there, I got a little inspiration and sat down to make some art and finally, I was able to make something in a simple way, which I shared here.

Happy Independence Day to Nigeria.

Here to present my art craft. It took only a few accessories to make this. While I was making the art, I felt like I was doing art just like I used to draw pictures with pencils at school in my childhood.

Equipment used in this craft:
-Pencil
-Compus 2Type
-Colour Pencil
-Scale
-White paper

If such an advanced governance system could be found, Nigeria's bad governance system could turn around. If we talk about changing the governance system, it has to be changed from the roots, otherwise there will be no benefit from making changes in one or two places like this. If the change does not happen from the roots, after some days it will go back to the old governance system again. Do you think naija will get such an advanced governance system? Naija really needs a change that will last.

If I want to talk about how I feel about the situation of this our country bah I no sure say I go fit talk am finish. Bit no be too much talk all of us know say this country dey in a serious mess, yes we dey celebrate independence but are we really independent? Of course we are not because we depend on other countries for most of the things we consume. I was privileged to attend a summit to at the Abuja continental Hotel’s ladi Kwali hall. it was about value atleast 30% adding to our ingenious raw materials before exporting. which I think is something that need to be done to most of our raw materials to boost the economy. We cannot just be seating and let this oyibos come collect our materials, process them and resale them for us back at a higher price. It was really interesting as I listened to bitter truth from some concerned elite in the country. I was happy that we are now starting to ask this question a finding solution to that aspect.

I don’t want to let the issue of insecurity slide, I’m very worried as to how unsafe it for the so called independent nation citizens are being kidnapped from their home while some are killed in situations like This. I don’t want to say to much but until many of this issues have been addressed I will not agree that there is freedom in this country.

Happy Independence Day to Nigeria

First of all, I would like to thank @Obim34 for organizing such a beautiful art competition to mark Nigeria's 66th Independence Day. I am a new member to this forum, so I have not yet met the requirements for the competition. However, seeing the drawings of others has given me the desire to create something.

Out of that interest, I tried to draw a small picture centered on my country's Independence Day. I drew the picture mainly to increase my practice and experience, so that if I have the opportunity to participate in such competitions in the future, I can present something better. Thanks again to @Obim34 for giving me the opportunity to share my drawings in this thread outside the competition. I am happy to share this small effort of mine with everyone.

I was looking to help you with your first merit in the local board, but your artwork, without throwing shade, isn't good enough. You could be much better, you still have more days until the contest ends to edit your posts with something much more appreciable, not just writing and coloring.

We all love Nigeria and celebrating our independence, hopefully you will be up to rank before the next edition, next year.

Thank you very much @Obim34 sir for giving me a second chance. I have drawn the picture with a lot of time and patience the second time than the first time. Maybe this time everyone will like it a little better than before. I am completely new, you have shown me that I made a mistake and given me a second chance. This is none other than a person with a great heart.

Since I'm a complete newbie, my picture may not be very good, but I tried my best to do it well.

And also for you too.

But to the hones, these art work look like primary school art work. Not to discredit you or anything but if you check the level of works that are been submitted you can tell the difference.

Anyways good luck and love the enthusiasm of joining the contest.
