Vivuscoin (VVC)Open-source SHA-256d proof-of-work coin. 240-second blocks, 50 VVC block reward halving every 210,000 blocks. Download the wallet, then mine solo with any SHA-256 miner or claim VVC from the airdrop: 500 VVC for each of the first 1,000 registered addresses, then 50 VVC.Specifications- Algorithm: SHA-256d, proof of work
- Block target: 240 seconds
- Block reward: 50 VVC, halving every 210,000 blocks (about 6.6M VVC a year in the first era)
- Difficulty: adjusts every block (LWMA-1 over the last 60 blocks), with stall protection
- Reorg limit: reorganisations deeper than about 10 blocks are refused
- Total supply: about 127.03M VVC; live figure at explorer/api/v1/totalcoins (the first 120 blocks paid larger subsidies; schedule on vivuscoin.com/supply/)
- Genesis: 8 May 2021, hash 000000009ba1cc4ecf00c8d24b704f3e88f8c03a70fba8f3e6c350007b5a2cd5

Download — Vivuscoin Core 1.1.0https://github.com/vivuscoin/vivuscoin/releases/tag/v1.1.0- Windows 64-bit: vivuscoin-1.1.0-win64-setup.exe (or the .zip)
- macOS (Apple silicon): vivuscoin-1.1.0-macos-arm64.dmg — unsigned; right-click the app and choose Open the first time
- Linux 64-bit: vivuscoin-1.1.0-x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.gz (vivuscoin-qt, vivuscoind, vivuscoin-cli; Ubuntu 20.04 / Debian 11 and newer)
- SHA256SUMS is on the same page; the v1.1.0 tag is the exact source
Core 1.1 is required. Earlier versions do not follow the chain. If the wallet sits at zero connections, add
addnode=seed1.vivuscoin.com and
addnode=seed2.vivuscoin.com to vivuscoin.conf.
Mining (solo stratum)Any SHA-256d stratum miner works. Your VVC address is the username; the block reward pays that address directly. No account, no pool balance, no fee, nothing to withdraw.
URL: stratum+tcp://pool.vivuscoin.com:3333
Username: your VVC address (A…)
Password: x
cpuminer -a sha256d -o stratum+tcp://pool.vivuscoin.com:3333 -u <YOUR_VVC_ADDRESS> -p x
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.vivuscoin.com:3333 -u <YOUR_VVC_ADDRESS> -p x
bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.vivuscoin.com:3333 -u <YOUR_VVC_ADDRESS> -p x
A CPU tests the connection; a single GPU (1–3 GH/s) is a meaningful share of the network; an ASIC is far more than the network needs and difficulty rises to meet it within blocks. Rewards mature after 100 blocks (about 6 h 40 min). Full guide:
vivuscoin.com/mining/Airdrop — phase 1Register a VVC address at
vivuscoin.com/airdrop/. 500 VVC for each of the first 1,000 registered addresses, then 50 VVC. Phase 1 is 2,000,000 VVC, one claim per address, at most 200 claims a day, paid in daily batches. Every batch is listed on that page by transaction id.
No tasks, no referrals, no KYC. Claims happen on the website only — please do not post addresses in this thread. Node runners (1,000 VVC per month of verified uptime) and merged contributions (500–5,000 VVC) are paid from the same programme; details on the airdrop page.
