What is MinerChainList?MinerChainList is a new independent technical directory focused on
Proof-of-Work coins, mining pools and network data.
The goal is not to become another price/speculation website.
Instead, MinerChainList focuses on useful technical information for miners, developers, node operators and PoW projects.
Coin directoryEach listed coin can include information such as:
- Coin name and ticker
- Mining algorithm
- Consensus mechanism
- Block time
- Block height
- Network difficulty
- Estimated network hashrate
- Peer count
- Circulating supply
- Total supply
- Maximum supply
- Official website
- Block explorer
- Wallet links
- Source repository
- Documentation / whitepaper
Live API monitoringProjects can provide public API endpoints for technical network information.
After manual review, MinerChainList can periodically collect and display data such as:
block_height
difficulty
network_hashrate
peer_count
circulating_supply
total_supply
A separate supply API can also be configured when supply data is provided by another endpoint.
Submitted API endpoints are
not automatically trusted or polled.
They are reviewed before monitoring is enabled.
Mining pool directoryMining pools can be listed independently and connected to their respective coin.
Pool information can include:
- Pool name
- Mining / payout scheme
- Pool fee
- Stratum endpoint
- Region
- Pool hashrate
- Miner count
- Worker count
- Blocks found
- Public API monitoring
Pool directory:
https://minerchainlist.com/poolsSubmit a coin or mining poolCoin and pool submissions are open.
https://minerchainlist.com/submitAll submissions are reviewed before publication.
This helps reduce incorrect information, fake projects, broken links and unsafe API endpoints.
Featured listingsMinerChainList also supports optional Featured placements.
Featured listings are:
- Clearly marked as paid / sponsored placements
- Separate from the technical review process
- Currently available for coins and mining pools
- Currently payable with VMESH
The current Featured placement is:
Payment does
not influence whether a submitted project passes the technical review.
Featured placements only affect visibility after a listing has been approved.
First live example: VargaMesh (VMESH)VargaMesh is currently one of the first fully monitored projects on MinerChainList.
The listing includes live network statistics, supply information and multiple mining pools.
Coin page:
https://minerchainlist.com/coins/vargameshVMESH mining pools currently listed include:
- VMESH SOLO
- BTC + VMESH Merged SOLO
- Home Mining PPLNS
Public APIMinerChainList also provides a public API for listed coins:
https://minerchainlist.com/api/v1/coinsWhat MinerChainList is NOTMinerChainList is currently
not:
- An exchange
- A trading platform
- A swap service
- A custodial wallet
- A customer balance system
- A financial advisory service
It is designed as a technical information, monitoring and discovery platform.
Current development focusMinerChainList is still a new project and is being actively developed.
Current priorities include:
- Adding more PoW coins
- Adding more independent mining pools
- Improving API monitoring
- Improving network statistics
- Better pool statistics
- More public API endpoints
- Better project verification
- Community feedback from miners and developers
Looking for PoW projects and pool operatorsIf you operate:
- a Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency
- a mining pool
- a public blockchain API
- a block explorer
feel free to submit it.

Feedback is welcome.I am especially interested in feedback from miners, pool operators and developers:
- What technical data would you like to see for each coin?
- Which pool statistics are most useful to you?
- Which PoW projects should be added next?
- What do existing coin/pool directories currently miss?
MinerChainList is intended to be a long-term technical directory rather than a short-term promotional page.
