When such case occurs, how best can a person go about the case?

There isn't much to do to help matters here because even with all your precautions, you can still be a victim and with our poor security system, you can become the escape goat. Platforms like bybit has the institution options which display along merchant orders and theses are accounts that has been verified as a business therefore with hopes we know merchants like this won't want to involved themselves in fraud as that'll affect their business. You can trade with this type of merchants and hope for the best. It's mostly those new merchants with not much reputation or feedbacks that are always guilty of this type of problems involving fraud money being used to pay clients. If I was in a situation like this (bank account gets frozen for fraud), I think it's best you report yourself to the EFCC to clear your name or involvement before the authorities starts looking for you themselves because then you might'nt be given the privilege to explained yourself.
