Metaplanet adds 1,000 BTC to its treasury to become the second largest Bitcoin Treasury Company in the world.

On the other hand, the third-place campaign, Twenty One Capital, made its last major public purchase of Bitcoin over a year ago. It was on May 9, 2025, when they acquired 4,812 BTC. Then they changed their campaign strategy.
Perhaps knowing this, Metaplanet decided to make a media appearance with their 1000 BTC purchase.
Upd: Today Strive bought 2000 Bitcoins and now have 29462 Bitcoins. If they buy another 560 bitcoins, they will overtake BST.
