Especially in situations where those review scores are influenced or paid for, third-party reviews are not always a good choice if you really want to get the best genuine reviews.
Exchanges have a lot of affiliate marketing the drive volumes of executed orders, but sometimes those orders don't represent actual realities as far as individual customer satisfaction is concerned.
These are not paid reviews.
I would take all claims by both exchanges and review sites (in this case, LandofCrypto) with a grain of salt. One example is the fees and costs, the advertised ones vs the effective fees observed by the reviewer. We know how volatile bitcoin and crypto is. BTC values can drop or rise within an hour rather quickly. It's difficult to calculate the exact amount you are supposed to receive with floating rates that change every 20-30 seconds for example. In some cases, LandofCrypto compared the costs with CoinGecko rates, so there are margin of errors there as well.
There is a method for determining the moment of execution of the transaction, which is sufficient for determining the exact price at a certain moment. Thanks to blockchain technology for that.
Also, a good observation about the source used in the methodology for calculating the actual real price. CoinGecko and CMC have somehow taken the lead in this and most tools rely on their API.
