RAUSCHDATEI

SPEZIFIKATION

Konsens: Proof of Work mit einfachem SHA-256
Signaturen: Ed25519
Blockzeit: 600 Sekunden
Blockbelohnung: 77 MONEU, Halving alle 194 804 Blöcke, keine Tail Emission
Maximale Menge: 30 000 000 MONEU
Coin Type: 8328 in SLIP-0044

──────────────────────────────

Originaltext (Englisch):

MONEU – an independent proof of work blockchain you mine on your own computer

MONEU is a layer 1 blockchain with its own chain, live on mainnet since August 2026. Nobody prints MONEU. Mining is the only way coins come into existence. No premine, no presale. Open source under the MIT licence.

The miner is built into the node. Mine on the processor or on the graphics card (OpenCL), on Linux or Windows. Proof of work is a single SHA-256 over a 120 byte block header, so Bitcoin ASICs cannot mine it.

NOISE FILE

Each wallet makes a noise file from entropy collected from physical events on the computer where it was created. Every payment needs a one-time proof from that file, four leaves per payment. A file holds 1 048 576 leaves, enough for 262 144 payments. Each leaf is bound to its own transaction and cannot be used twice.

Someone who works out a private key, for example with a quantum computer, still cannot move coins without the noise file. That file never leaves your computer.

SPECS

Consensus: proof of work with a single SHA-256
Signatures: Ed25519
Block time: 600 seconds
Block reward: 77 MONEU, halving every 194 804 blocks, no tail emission
Max supply: 30 000 000 MONEU
Coin type: 8328 in SLIP-0044

Important: from block 55000 transaction fees go to the miner. Every node must run version 0.2.2 before block 55000.

QUICK START

Windows: unpack the package, run moneu.exe and type the commands in its window.
Linux: unpack the package and put ./moneu-cli in front of each command.

Wait until the node has downloaded the whole chain. When getblockcount stops jumping and rises one block at a time, the node is ready. Then:

createwallet YOUR-PASSWORD
makenoise YOUR-PASSWORD
walletunlock YOUR-PASSWORD
getnewaddress

The first command shows 24 words, write them on paper. makenoise takes a few minutes, do not close the window. Use the same password without spaces in all three commands.

Mine on the processor (the number is how many threads to use):

startmining YOUR-ADDRESS 4

Mine on the graphics card:

startmining YOUR-ADDRESS gpu

Check that mining runs:

getmininginfo

If "mining" is true and "hashespersec" is above zero, you are mining.

Keep a copy of the whole wallet folder, noise file included, on a separate drive.
