All signs worldwide point to a war economy.

Europez and America keep getting more and more invested in armaments and their manufacture.
The middle east is at the center of it as always. Now also Russia.
Now even Asian countries are contributing more and more to severely fronts.

History has shown us that when the worldwide economy focuses on war the turbulence leads to a global collapse of many otherwise considered vital parts of the economy eventually. Is it too late to stop this potential outcome right on its tracks by now? Or will the warmongers keep us all implicated till the bitter end?

The biggest problems in the world right now basically come down to four men who should have let go or never been given power in the first place: Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladmir Putin. They are all worthless human beings trying to stir up war for the sole reason of keeping themselves in power. China has not yet stooped to the lows of the others, but they still threaten and bully neighbors while promising one day to invade democratic Taiwan. Trump is possibly one of the worst human beings to ever walk the planet for how far he has managed to diminish America in so many ways while ruining the world economy with all his abuses like tariffs and starting a failed war with Iran - yet he's gained absolutely nothing from all of it. Putin is a tyrant who needed a distraction because he's done nothing to benefit Russia or diversify it's economy in his decades since getting power. Netanyahu keeps power with support from religious fantasists who are pretty much as bad as the worst Islamists, he also goaded the stupidest president ever into starting the war on Iran but every prior president knew what a disaster that would be. The world would be a lot better place if it wasn't run by senile old men who have little future ahead of them, wanting to drag us all down. The world needs to heal and unite again but will struggle to do so with such vicious leaders in charge. Frankly religion is a big source of problems too and everyone tries so hard to ignore that.

It's so easy to change course, but we need to go back to progressive policies and try to prevent protectionism while stopping economic abuse. It can all get better again if just one or two of these leaders were replaced by much better people. Unfortunately it's easier for politicians to stoke division, stir hatred and destroy things compared to the longer, hard and "boring" road of constructing a brighter future.

Thing is, defense budgets are about the only thing politicians on all sides agree on. Nobody ever lost an election for being "too strong on security". So a voluntary U-turn isn't happening.

What usually ends these cycles is more money printed and a more indebted public. Which is exactly the purpose of a war. The western titanic has hit the iceberg, and everyone on politics is just stealing everything before the collapse.

All signs worldwide point to a war economy.

The leaders of the countries with most powerful armies seem to have gone nuts.
As long as this situation stays, it's not an oddity that everybody is preparing for the worse.

Given that the ongoing wars also made energy overly expensive, many businesses switched to making war related products simply to survive until better times will come.
Also the ongoing informational war destabilizes all the governments and pretty much the world order. And currently this is still on the rise, driving everything to the wrong direction.

I am unsure if this will be remembered as WW3, but we can look into the history books how the previous world wars evolved and how they have ended.
Until then I don't have high hopes the world can just "heal"  Sad

I thought I might find Kim Jong somewhere in this narrative. Lately I’ve heard over the news of him having to launch some ballistic missiles recently in a scheduled and supervised test. In this era where several nations are at war and the uncertainty around some parts of Asia and Kim’s close relationship with Putin. Japan had to warn its citizens to be weary of possible attacks as, these leaders can be unpredictable but then, the war is taking a toll on the world and it’s something that should be halted.

Yes it seems that way, Europe especially think they need to ramp up their spending on military
because a. they cannot rely on the US protecting them any longer and b. they think Russia is
going to attack 'Europe'.

Its total nonsense and its been driven by the big global banks, they want war because war
brings them profit. They wont go and fight wars themselves, they sacrifice others in their quest
for more profit.

The biggest problems in the world right now basically come down to four men who should have let go or never been given power in the first place: Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladmir Putin.

I probably would have said that you are listening too much to mainstream media but you
have lumped everyone in together.

Trump - isnt doing anything too much different to the previous handful of US presidents really,
ok other than foolishly listening to Netanyahu. But War is what the US does and its not driven by
Trump or presidents before - its as above 'The Banks'.

Jinping - The mainstream media has everyone believing they need to be afraid of China. The
western Epstein class are afraid that their way of colonising and piracy of other countries is
under threat of a more social type of economy that China uses.

Netanyahu - no need to say anything here, its already out there what he is up to

Putin - why? because his attack on Ukraine? the pressure from NATO meant they finally had to
act and unfortunately it was the puppet government in Ukraine pledging closer ties with NATO
which meant Russia had to act.

History has shown us that when the worldwide economy focuses on war the turbulence leads to a global collapse of many otherwise considered vital parts of the economy eventually.
War is expensive, and money isn't the only cost we're talking about here, it comes a the expense of lives, international relations, economy, etc. Take the United States for example, they have spent billions of dollars on this war with Iran that doesn't seem to have an end in sight, nor is anybody sure what there is to achieve from it.

Nobody is pulling out of anything if we're to be honest, geopolitical tensions have always existed and will continue to. There are also a lot of egos involved in this, plus battles for territory, so even if the global economy suffers, these egomaniacs will still stay at it.

Almost every country wants to represent itself as superior to any other country in the current time we are living in. We have seen such examples in the form of war, political pressure and statements to show dominance over other countries. What is happening between Ukraine and  Russia, Sudia and Yemen, America and Iran, israel-Lebanon and Gaza. israel right now is opposing a lot of countries and breaking many international rules. So, OP, I agree with you.

Whatever is going on needs to be stopped now for the betterment of human civilization.
In front of humanity, nothing comes first in my dictionary when it comes to the world. We should care more about innocent people who are being murdered without any fault of their own. And OP, believe me, we should not worry much more about economic matters compared to what I am saying. What do you think about this? CMIIW!

I think all of their preparation means just to defend and not to attack. If some neighboring countries go outrage, they are just there ready to defend themselves.

Otherwise, it's not for conquering territories except for the few which are currently engaging in their own wars.

To stop this, one has to sacrifice and agree to what's being asked to them which is more of an egoistic manner. But we're seeing it that none of them are willing to go low than the other.

Sure enough, indications of potential arms race between regions are drawing the world closer to collapse of its economic system. The movement of huge amounts of capital to weapons manufacturing plants affects the stability of the food chain which must not be compromised.

The dependence of both military and commercial chains is a cover up of the humanitarian motives of the leaders who control the strings of power. The drive to attain supremacy in weaponry makes it impossible to conduct any rational negotiations.

After the economy has already entered a state of military stress, it is unlikely that the situation will change or improve. It seems that none of the countries is going to reduce defense spending; on the contrary, I hear daily news about strengthening defense and allocating even more funds for it. World leaders seem to have played too much and forgotten about other methods of negotiating and redirecting money to peaceful infrastructure so that their economies can grow without the risk of collapse.

I don't think this is possible because what you see many countries do is use war as a threat or, let me say, a defense mechanism for them to be ahead of others due to their strength and various abilities. This is where you see that countries with the strongest or higher-performing economies have the ability to withstand any rigor when it comes to receiving threats from other countries. It all depends on who has the ability and the infrastructure, together with the military strength, and stands not to be intimidated by any other.

Well that's the thing the world is creating more weapons in seconds, and the development at which these weapons are being created is rapid. But one thing is certain which is creating weapons might be for war, but still that doesn't mean it's there to start up one, because war causes calamity and people who get dragged into it become casualties. But to me I believe it's all about deterrence. Countries that create weapons often do so to protect themselves from being attacked by their rivals. And while those weapons cost a lot of money that could have easily been put into development of the country, deterrence on the other hand has actually prevented any major powerful countries in the world from going into a direct, full scale world war for years now. So to me it's a way for balance, even if it could bring destruction. That's all.....

Pre-planned new world order, Agenda 2030, and the rise of the fourth industrial revolution—they're keeping the masses distracted while the world economy is moved to blockchain technology. If you understand what's going on.

During the pandemic, the then Fed chair, Powell, did say, "We're not going back to the same economy. We're recovering but to an economy that's more leverage to technology, where algorithms, robots, and AI will take over the economy, so whatever is happening right now is just a distraction while they're gradually moving to a different economy, which is technology-driven, and the tokenization of everything.

There are a large number of countries in this world and everyone is hostile to someone or the other, so this war has been starting not from today but for many years. In the past, the British had a lot of power and today they are at peace with the war, so many wars have started in Europe too. Therefore, the destruction of the world is not possible yet, which in one sense of the world, if I talk about it with faith in our religion, then this world will be destroyed and before that there will be many big wars. There will also be world wars. Now the war between America and Iran was not an ordinary war that ended in 2-3 days. On one side there was aggression and on the other side there was power, due to which this war is going on till now. The existence of the world will take many countries from wars in the same way and we know that before that too many such countries have ended due to war and today they are occupied by some other country.

You talked about Europe, but specifically in Spain the militar budget is still low despite Trump’s warning to increase it from roughly 2% gDP to 5%.

We live in a Welfare state and social security, public health, decent pensions, and free compulsory education for everyone is expensive. Increasing the arms budget would necessarily lead to a loss of social benefits, and in a world where diplomacy worked as it should it shouldn’t be necessary, but it seems that there are powers that just don’t mind.

they think Russia is going to attack 'Europe'.

Its total nonsense and its been driven by the big global banks, they want war because war
brings them profit. They wont go and fight wars themselves, they sacrifice others in their quest
for more profit.

While I do agree that some do it for profit, I disagree with "it's total nonsense". I live in a country that was in the shadow of USSR/CCCP for far too many years and it's not healed yet.
Russia has multiple ways to attack, some ongoing as we speak. Downplaying them is a mistake.
And given the new reality with USA playing a very ugly game, from withdrawing their support here and there to turning their back to traditional allies for imho childish reasons, EU trying to become relevant in the case of a war is not a strange nor unexpected direction.

A wartime economy does not necessarily always end in economic collapse. However this often leads to decline in innovative capacity and productivity. We have seen in past that when government and industrial sector place excessive emphasis on military production. At that time, capital and research investment were diverted from sector that improve quality of daily life, such as healthcare, education, energy or technology to other sector.

If you review of wars of past few year then you will get that there will be no sudden economic collapse. Rather, these wars will create prolonged stagnation. Ukraine and Russia have not reached any solution. Situation regarding potential war between Iran-USA is similar. There is also little chance of resolving current Russia-NATO issue. Rather situation will become increasingly heated day by day.

Country are continuously spending money to maintain sense of security. Society would have become stronger by investing in enhancing productive capacity rather than maintaining any permanent state of emergency. We do not yet know whether global economy will be able to return to any stable state before growth and standard of living are compromised.

Benjamin Netanyahu  is about to go through an election, the others wont.   That lack of population input to their decisions makes war more likely I suppose, Putin has said he wont end the war out of fear for looking weak.  How does a million dead not appear weak I don't know, a pointless war of course.

The demise of the 'Peace Dividend' is already a set piece, its over with so too the hopes post USSR have diminished.  The rise of NATO military budgets is a generational trend, I don't think that will reverse but the armaments and money spent will be different to the cold war.
We  can only hope the war stays cold and no advantage is sought in futher expansion.

It is true that the leaders and heads of major nations seem to have lost their minds. However, given the immense power possessed by the world today, a major war would mean global destruction something no one would easily dare to trigger. That is why I do not anticipate a massive world war.

Modern warfare will likely take the form of conflicts between nations, and these wars will be protracted. While the rivalry might subsequently continue in the commercial and technological spheres, I am certain that they do not want these conflicts to escalate into a full-scale war.
