Hindi lang dapat yung wallet ang secure, pati yung access sa mismong wallet which in this case (for crypto users) private keys or seed phrases. If may access ka sa bank personal vault, pupwede mo ilagay ang 1/2 of your total seed phrases doon (kung 24 words, bale 12 ilagay mo doon), the same goes kung private key, hatiin mo. This way, even if mawala or manakaw pa yung physical wallet mo, hindi parin maa-access ng mga kawatan. If wala ka namang access sa personal bank vaults, pwede din naman itago mo na lang sa ibang lugar, like on a separate house sa ibang city - far from where you actually reside.
Another option is to place everything on a multi-sig setup. Have 3 different hardware wallet at dapat you could only move your crypto if signed by those 3 wallets. Then, just place them separately katulad ng unang setup na nabanggit ko. The risk here is that if you lose access to even just 1 wallet, hindi mo na forever ma-aacess ang crypto mo.

I guess, that's always the risk of having tight security sa crypto holdings mo. You just need to be very careful.
Lastly, never flaunt whether online or in real life how much crypto you have. Just like what happened sa taong 'to, he was probably flagged as someone with lots of crypto kaya siya tinarget. Dapat talaga lowkey 'lang.
