YSKAR (YSR)
proof, not promise

YSKAR is an independent proof-of-work blockchain with its own coin, YSR. It is not a token on another chain and not a "mining" app that counts up a number: every device computes real double SHA-256, and every full node checks every block itself.

The genesis block carries the inscription proof, not promise. That is the standard for the project: nothing is simulated, and nothing is promised.

Fair launch
  • No premine, no presale, no team or founder allocation.
  • The chain started with an empty state. The only way to create coins is a block reward.
  • The reward of the genesis block went to the all-zero address, for which no key is known.

Specifications
  • Coin: YSKAR (YSR), 8 decimal places
  • Proof of work: SHA-256(SHA-256(header)) over a 136-byte header with an 8-byte nonce (not Bitcoin's 80-byte header format)
  • Target block time: 600 seconds
  • Difficulty: adjusted every block, LWMA over the last 45 blocks, with an emergency rule after 1,800 seconds without a block
  • Block reward: 875 YSR, halved every 12,000 blocks (about 83 days)
  • Maximum supply: 21,000,000 YSR, enforced by every node
  • Ledger: account model (balance and nonce per address)
  • Signatures: Ed25519
  • Addresses: bech32m, starting with ysr1
  • Wallet: BIP39 seed words, SLIP-0010 derivation
  • Genesis: 2026-09-09 00:00 UTC, network yskar-main-1
  • P2P port: 8646 (TCP)

How to mine
  • Phone: Android app with background mining, or the Telegram Mini App with nothing to install.
  • Windows: Node Core, a full node with built-in wallet, CPU and GPU mining and pool operation in one program.
  • Command line: CPU miner, plus an extra program for NVIDIA graphics cards. It needs only an address, never a key.
  • Solo or pool. No rule favors a kind of device; rewards follow the work.

Pools without custody
A coinbase can pay up to 64 recipients. The pool's PPLNS accounting becomes the coinbase of the block, so the chain pays every miner directly in the block that was found. A pool operator never holds other miners' coins. The node software limits the pool fee to 5 %.

Verify it yourself
  • The complete source code is public: consensus rules, full node, pool accounting, wallets, miners, explorer.
  • The explorer rebuilds each block header in your browser and recomputes the hash.
  • Anyone can run a full node. An observer tool downloads the chain and re-validates every block.

Status and limits
Named plainly, so that nobody expects more than there is.
  • YSKAR is a young, small network. It currently has two seed nodes and one public pool, all run by the same operator. More independent nodes and pools are exactly what the network needs.
  • There are no checkpoints and no limit on reorganization depth. Treat a transfer as more final the more blocks are built on top of it.
  • Node Core exists for Windows only. On Linux and macOS the full node runs from the command line.
  • The Android app is distributed as an APK through GitHub Releases. There is no iOS app.
  • No license has been chosen yet. The source is public and can be read and verified.

No promises
YSR has no price and no market, and it is not listed on any exchange. Nothing here promises that this will change, and nobody should mine in that expectation.
