Not early anymore to make 100x ROI but we're still early for the next bullrun though. Since bitcoin has historically always goes up, nothing wrong with getting 2x at minimum for the next bull. Not much asset can give you this much gain by simply holding for 3 years or less from pico bottom to another bullish season. 2x of our lifesaving is still a great investment profit regardless, and what we learnt from 2023-2025 period, if you bought at pico bottom, you might be getting 4x within 2 year of holding. I'd take it, over buying bonds or SPX, because stock market is already overpriced and is at tipping point.

Even though, you have a point. Bitcoin's market capitalization sitting above Samsung and Tesla, just right below Aramco and Broadcom is telling that we're past the early stage and everybody who have interest to dump on institutional investors on ETF listing have done so long time ago. Can't say it's early or alpha if everybody and their grandma already owned some.

And there are also school of thoughts going around that the bear market is getting shallow every cycle. Which means that returns are not going to be as it used to be like in 2017 wherein there is as big spike in the price, hence the ROI is huge.

Nevertheless, it might not hurt us if we just keep on going and accumulate as much as we can even if it's getting harder. The key here is that we should go and HODL and still look for the bigger picture as there is a big possibility that Bitcoin can hit $1m in the future.

Yeah, compared to gold, Bitcoin's still a baby. It's like comparing an old geezer to a newborn. But being younger doesn't automatically mean we're still early to buy in. An asset's age doesn't tell you how much upside it has left.

It's not too late to get into Bitcoin, and there's still plenty of upside. But that doesn't mean we're still early, or that today's buyers can expect to make the same kind of gains people who got in 17 years ago did.

Let's be realistic here. Bitcoin marketcap is already north of $1.5 trillion. We're way past the $1M or $1B stage.

You are free to think what ever you like, because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I may agree with you that those that wishes to invest in Bitcoin and be expecting huge returns in one or two circles may not get as much as those that came into it ten years ago, but have you thought of 50yrs time from now?
That's definitely a long time, and most people may not live up to that number, but with how adoption rate is still pretty low, I believe that if the adoption rate can go as high as 40% in the total world population, this current price will look like a steal, because Bitcoin can go as high as a million dollars or more if something like that eventually happens, so we are still pretty early, if you don't mind.

We will look back at 80k and we will still feel like we've missed out buying at 80k ..

It's going to be a never ending cycle, if Bitcoin is going to be a million one day I don't want to wait around complaining that this 80k means you and I have missed the best opportunity, I refuse to believe so.

I think the "it's not early" realization for me was when the ETF happened. I know many things will happen, including the sudden boost in the value of Bitcoin. Then, the regular guy getting his hands on Bitcoin and probably still keeping it until now.
With so many people keeping it in their own vaults, we cannot tell anymore when it will pump to the moon. It can be now or in many years, but the fact remains that the whole world knows about it now, so it will not stay silent anymore. The early stage is gone. As much as possible, we should get our hands on any amount of Bitcoin we can get.

The way I see it is that we are still early!

I think there has been a massive shift in how Bitcoin is perceived in terms of institutiona investment.
I dont particularly like the idea of those parasites getting involved but they have normalised Bitcoins
look to some degree even tough some are still publically atacking it.

Secondly - as we are witnessing the fall of a lot of the global economies there will be very few places
finalcially speaking where people can put their wealth without it becoming melted, dehydrated, worthless,
so I believe a lot is yet to play out before more and more people realise that they missed out by clinging
onto traditional financial instruments.

Imo, just because an asset still has room to run does not mean we are still early. Upside and being early are two different things.

If people buying bitcoin now count as early, then what do you call the guys who got in 17years ago and made millions of percent? You cannot lump these two groups together.

It's not too late to buy bitcoin, and there is still plenty of room to double your money, mate. But we're past the early days.

i remembered few years back when it was around $15k - $30k, that was how some felt like it is already priced too high to see an entry at that point to be early, and a couple of years down the line, and we get to realize there was no earlier time than then as compared to now. The phrase 'we are still early to buy" is often used because that is actually a fact, few years ahead from now, and we will realize how true this has been. there are proven track records of the progressive increase in the price value of Bitcoin and that is one of the reasons upon which they will always tell you that you are still early to buy now, after now they know that you may likely not meet Bitcoin at this price because the value by then will have definitely gone higher than it is now. So it is not just a wishful hope, but it is some expected future reality with evidence of the possibilities around it happening.

No one knows for sure, the skeptical side of someone will always say that it's too late.
Bitcoin is no longer in the early stages, but Bitcoin has entered the next stage, an even higher stage with the current Bitcoin achievement which is in the 4th cycle (after the fourth halving that occurred in April 2024).
The market is in a period of bear market or post-peak correction after reaching an all-time high (ATH) by the end of 2025.

2026 is going to be a pretty tough year, a bearish year and Bitcoin is trying to stay afloat.
People here (OG) who certainly know how Bitcoin works will see historical data and analysis, that Bitcoin is still moving and the few or many Bitcoins that people here have will have no effect, all based on the knowledge that each person has.

If we expect or hope that the price of Bitcoin will one day rise in the near or distant future to around 500k or $1 million, we are still too early indeed.

We are now at a price of approximately 85,000 so whoever buys at this price will have plenty of time to make big profits, but the problem is that many people are still hesitant even now.

No one knows how much bitcoin a person holds unless they prove it, but does it even matter in a space where privacy is nurtured over everything? I don’t think it matters and doesn’t call for verifying claims of ownership of bitcoin. One thing will always be, everyone will wish they’ve own more bitcoin when the price was low, or invested more at that time.

Some will wish the hands of time can turn back for them to invest massively in bitcoin again. But the truth is that, not everyone will be encouraged to do so if bitcoin drops in price drastically, they’ll become more scared and fear that bitcoin may not rise again. They might be wishing for it in their words but not confidence to act on it when it happens. Let everyone say what they like, the person who stands to be profitable is the one who truly holds and not in the words of convincing thought just to feel among.

One the biggest questions on the minds of folks entering the crypto space is this ; “Am i too late to bitcoin?”. You’ll often hear questions like Are we still early?  Is now the best time to buy ? Isn’t bitcoin too expensive? . The truth is that no matter how early we are now we can never be as early as those that brought during the early stage of bitcoin . When bitcoin was still the around 3 digits , But that hasn’t stopped Bitcoin from reaching new ATHs over the years. Yes, we can’t predict bitcoin’s future. We  can only speculate using its historical data . So, can we really tell if we’re still early or already late? Not with certainty. Anything can happen. But one thing is certain Bitcoin has come a long way , and its journey is far from over .

We should know that Bitcoin's market cap is significantly higher than what it was in its early years so there's no point expecting it to produce the same percentage of gains every cycle. As the market is bigger now, it'll require huge liquidity to push the price largely higher.

That said, i think there's still a whole lot to profit from the market, there's still a lot of opportunities because adoption is still growing and Bitcoin is definitely going to have much more value that what it is at the moment. So to benefit from it, you have to accumulate as much as possible gradually than expecting overnight returns.

If we think about Bitcoin from the beginning, we are no longer in the early stages, but if we think about the future, we may still be in the early stages. There is no debate about this, even if the future of Bitcoin is 100 years, we can still call the first 25 years an early stage. In terms of value, we dream of $1 million, so we are still in the early stages.
If we think about Bitcoin from the beginning, then the $1.6 trillion market capitalization asset cannot be in the early stages. Even when the value of each coin is around $80k and its highest value is $126k. Basically, our point of view will determine where we are.

I think it’s more or less like that, and they’re not wrong to consider this still the early stages—even though their Bitcoin holdings are small compared to those of major holders—because even though the amount they hold is small, they already own it.
Everything that has been happening since Bitcoin first became publicly available until now—the data shows that this is no longer the 'early days'. When people still insist that this is still the early days, I simply agree—just to avoid an argument.
