Ongoing riot in France is crazy, on the net there're over a hundred videos of unusual physical combats from young people against the police, Palestinian flags wavering on the streets, tear gas smoke spiraling on the streets, before dealing with your time, how was Paris built? Since the end of Second World War, France due to economic reasons, required much people to fill up the gap for the sweetshop jobs the nation needed to modernize in the industrial age. Most people came from Algeria, due to long standing relationship between the both countries. Lately, France moved from Industrial Economy to Service Economy, therefore the demand for highly skilled workers like Medical doctors, Nurses, Engineers, etc turned high on demand for the Government, rendering the other high population that moved into Paris with underpaying job opportunities stacked at doing nothing. this work is a beautiful read on the subject

Chaos reigns everywhere, and it all depends on leaders' ability to control the situation in their country. We also have to support anything citizens do to agitate for their rights; there are ways the government can address things amicably, without showing bias or creating a wrong impression on angry mobs.
I don't expect this to be happening in France because this is one of the most peaceful countries one will ever want to live in; it shows that some people have been working underground to ensure the government feels their lapses are exposed to the public without any second thoughts or consideration of the cost of doing all this.

Yes Muslims are involved right now in the protest but is the protest really about immigrants and Muslims like the article stated? It is clear that the reason for the protest is as a result of little or not enough funding going into their educational activities and systems in the country. A whole lot of students and teachers have joined the protest and it seems like the French government and police no longer have control over it as it stands. The billions and millions pushed into supporting the Ukraine war against Russia should have dome a great deal for educational purposes but they choose funding unnecessary wars over peace. I saw that Donald Trump's comment on it being mass immigration of muslims and islam wanting to take over the French nation but it is not and even if it was, let's not forget how many Islamic and Arabic nations the US/Nato joint western world has destroyed. Or do we also forget how the so called French nation has assassinated African leaders none stop so as the hold onto their mineral resources? It is cool when a western nation does it,but when these immigrants looking for greener pastures go into their nations, it is bad? Some speculations also say, the Sahel regions <AES> controlling their mineral resources for the past four years has also dropped the strength of the French economy.

Yeah it is good such chaotic is being happened even in those most developed countries because some folks has also think that countries where such public demonstrations only happens around the third world countries. My emphasis is that you should not be surprised in the happening there in France, take it that corruptions is a characteristic in every form where politics and you don't have to rely on those leaders because, they will definitely go contrary against the public without considering the damage their self ness would cause to the masses. There in France, the masses have to be bold enough to come out and demonstrations their acts to attract the higher authorities attentions so that they can be heard and attended to for the unacceptable governance to be corrected or amended. If they (public) also refuses to face the fear today and expresses themselves, then they never get it right. That is also why you could feel such energy and fearlessly from the masses.

We rather not call out a whole religion for the illegal conduct of a minority, we can't be sure if every participant of the protest is a Muslim. Majority takes the vote, I see that Islam is quickly blamed whenever violence breaks out because they're the majority population in the nation.

Yep , what is happening in France is simply the result of them misusing their budget to fund Ukraine's war against Russia instead of focusing on their own economy. On top of that, a bunch of African countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Senegal are trying to kick France out of their territory . That doesn't only cost France its influence, it's also losing the resources and economic perks it's long relied on to get rich. A country that gets rich by colonizing and looting the resources of other countries , it's only a matter of time before it collapses .

I don't understand. Why are you pinning what is going on in France to "Islamism"? Is there something I'm missing? Because from what I can understand, the original cause of this particular protest was students protesting for the state of their schools and education, so why am I reading an article talking about Islamism? For the Palestinian flags, it's normal for a protest that has turned into a riot to quickly involve other things and people with other motives. And as we know, supporting Palestine seems like the new cool among young people these days. If there is something I'm missing, I would like to be educated on it. The cause fo the current protest has nothing to do with industrial economy or immigration or whatever the post and articles says.

This isn't about a religion but underfunding their shools. They have long roots for rioting about inequality. You might see a palestanian flags also, because some people who protest about inequality, are using that opportunity to get their voices heard about the genocide that's happening. And "unusual"? Have you seen news in past 100 years? France knows how to protest efficiently. It's almost a proud tradition for them. There's ton of disinformation out there, and it's easy to find some images of all the protest they have. They are just writing their own stories and use those images to fuel their own false narratives. If you are spreading those stories, you are playing a part of an "useful idiot", by helping people who benefit from unrest of EU.

Because of the rapid industrial growth, France need immigrant workers but the main problem today is whether these communities are being properly integrated into the changing economy. It is true that frustration builds when people grow up in the areas that have a poor education system or there are limited job opportunities or there is little hope that their situation can be improved. Those frustrations mostly lead to protests and riots when there is already distrust between police and communities. Similarly, being unemployed or struggling financially is not a justification for any sort of violence or any attack on the police. Now France need to address both sides of the problem and it should create more realistic opportunities for the people who are being left behind and at the same time they have to maintain law.

Nobody is allowed to be searched without a search warrant. But, if there is a crime, the illegally immigrated is deported. It is a compromise solution better than what Trump would do if he could regarding the situation. I don't know what LePen would do, but whatever Trump is doing seems to be broadly fair and if what France would do, it would be a good thing for them, most likely. The problem with modern immigration is there are no checks done to ask people what they think about basic human rights and other questions that have the capacity to keep people safe. The French could ask an immigrant from Africa is requiring a burka of the local population would violate human rights for example. That would be a clue that someone is dangerous.

In Nigeria, if such a protest happens, our parents wouldn't be joining their children to protest, they will rather listen to their church pastors and ignore at the same time return back to their jobs but I must applaud all the brave parents who boycotted anything that had go do with work. With this level of coordination, they are most definitely getting results. I'm also keen to see what Emmanuel Marcron does, he has been mute all around. Senegal?! I can not vouch for them kicking out France already. The current president still aligns with them. Who also did the same was Benin Republic who had a coup done but was blocked by Algerian army and Nigerian Army. I can not say about their collapse, but I can boast of the Sahel regions controlling their resources and wealth.

Moreover the rival parties will also join this protest and use it to spread their own propaganda and influence ther protesters (students ) hoping to gain political support in future elections.. The media are changing the narrative of the protest and pointing the blame to Immigrants and Muslims (like D. Trump post on X) , where as the french economy isn't fairing well. It just a matter of time till their economy collapse, for a long time , they are still struggling with their budget deficit and loans. These kids have every right to protest for a better system of education , but I don't support the Violence that comes with it. This kind of chaos also happened when Paris Saint Germain Fc won the Uefa champions league.

Well, if that is the kind of student France has, I can understand why their educational system isn't doing well... The government can be blamed due to the precarity of schools, but it's known education starts by the students themselves. If the places are precarious, it has a lot to do with the kind of student who attend to it. I know what it is to study at a public school. It's chaos, and quite similar to a prison. And in largest part, not due to lack of investments, but due to the behavior of the students themselves. Anyway, regards the current events in France, it's obvious to be directly related to the following elections to take place in 2027.

You guys really need to read up and understand something before talking about it. Instead of simply looking at a situation, then going ahead and starting to talk about it when you haven't at least read to understand why something is like that. And when you read and discuss something, make sure to talk about it to the extent that you know. If you have read about the complaints of the students and the staff, you won't come here to blame the students for protesting and asking for their rights. I don't even want to go into the fact that you say the poor state of public schools is the fault of the students and not because of a lack of proper investment in the schools and education system. If you are at all to actually know what you're talking about, please read

This explosion from citizens could have been avoided because no society can maintain stability when some portion of its citizens feel very invisible and mistreated by the state authority. France was happily using these communities to modernize thei country during the industrial age but unfailrly lock them out and kick them to the side once the service economy took place. The street riots seem like a direct defensive reaction against the establishment that offers young people nothing but underpaid labor or high unemployment. As long as the government refuses to provide the basic needs and dignity to its citizens, they will eventually use the only language that forces them to pay attention.

Bad leadership is indeed the root cause of the chaotic actions happening now in France, at first it started very small but have escalated beyond imagination and has gotten to the stage where it will be very difficult to control especially now citizens have lost the trust they had for their president. When a nation is lead by a leader with vision, they do everything humanly possible to control and provide a balanced economy for his country but its clear the one in France has deviated from there primary objective to a different one when they choose not to introduce diplomacy and wisdom in handling situations. The only possibility of progress in France i know is a change in government because the one I see now is never capable of handling issues but concentrates on creating more problems to the country.

Lack of investment in the educational system doesn't justify actions like that. And again, it just show the quality of the students who are demanding for investments without deserving it.

There comes a time in a man's life when he needs to stop arguing and trying to be right and actually reassess the situation or topic. What do I care how the audience views you? What audience are you even talking about? I replied to you and gave you a link to read up on the issues to understand the students and staff POV, but you're here talking about tactics. What is my business if the "audience" believes me or not? Am I in a campaign or something? If you actually know about "protest" as you claim, you should know they easily escalate. Most violent protests or riots start out as peaceful protests. The fact that they might have turned the protest into something else doesn't mean their cause is unjust. They have a good cause. Funny how you sit down here and degrade the quality of students in a whole country. You haven't listened to their interviews, you haven't read what they have to say, you haven't watched the videos they uploaded while talking or complaining about this stuff, but because there is vandalism, you dismiss whatever reason they may have for the protest. How convenient. Just so you know, because there is vandalism in a protest doesn't mean the people protesting are low quality. Emotions can run high when there is anger and rage for a poor system, and if not properly controlled and channelled, it can quickly escalate when security forces come to chase people away with force, but I don't expect you to understand this. You are most likely privileged enough not to ever need to protest for your rights, or just never want to stand up and demand them.

Anyway, regards the current events in France, it's obvious to be directly related to the following elections to take place in 2027.
That's not necessarily the case. The protests have spread to other countries too. Belgium, Germany and France all have a common issue behind them: cuts to education spending and higher tuition fees. Spain, on the other hand, is all about sky high housing prices. You could say the common problem European countries are dealing with is government cutting spending because of huge budget deficits. And I'm sure we all know how they ended up with those deficits
