Or it could just inside job and spread FUDs to influence others to sell?
Anything is possible these days, people can do anything to create panic so they will profit from it. That’s why  it is good when we hear some information, we need to do double verification and fact check to see if there are any truth in it. The op didn’t provide much details for people to verify if what he’s saying is true. So it could be a deliberate attempt to cause some panic.

You have a good point, it's not something new. People tend to follow the FUD and regret it later when there is news that will compel them to buy or sell. There's so much fake news in the market.

I was a victim of that fake news. They want you to take action without thinking or doing research, the market is not only full of uncertainty its also full of fake news.

Nine tokens were stolen, swapped into ETH, BNB and SOL, then moved through privacy tools.
He checked his phone and email; there were no signs of hacking. He doesn't yet know how it was hacked.
If the owner himself doesn't even know how he got hacked, there's no way we will be knowing it either. The best thing that we can do is to make some assumptions, and I think the assumption that I can come up is that maybe the ones that he met is connected to what happened to him. I'm not saying that they're the ones, but... who knows. Cheesy

Anyway, aside from that I can't think of any possible reasons as to why he lost that money. We can also think that this might not happened in the first place and all of the text that we saw is just a fabricated one and the image? It might be an AI-generated one. Wink Just by looking at what happened and the fact that he said that there are no signs of getting hacked, I can only come up with 2 things. It's either the people around him are the suspects, or this didn't happen at all. Cheesy
