So should we turn off AI? AI was created by humans, and Quantum technology is the same. How they develop depends on the capabilities of their creators. Perhaps AI surpasses the abilities of its creators, but that certainly happens in specific areas depending on the ledger that serves as its source. The most important issue is the process of testing and clear limitations to prevent AI from operating outside human control. When that happens is possible, but not in the near future. It's just a race I guess, if an evil company owned the first ever working quantum computer that can break encryption, all hells break loose, if it was a good company the opposite will happen. To me Vitalik's statement have some truth in it, he's just warning developers to move their system into hash based cryptography that have better security, not really a fud. I mean why would he fudded his own altcoin. That doesn't make sense.

OP cannot provide a solution. He's just asking a question. Your post is just meaningless and you are trying to boost your post count.
I'm not a technical person and I'm gonna leave this discussion to the developers, who understand the subject. We could keep yapping about AI threats and quantum computing threats, but we don't know if the BTC developers are preparing against such threats(and how are they preparing). I believe that a serious AI attack would catch the crypto world by surprise(even though everyone is expecting such AI attack to happen).

Currently, there is no possibility of this happening and if there is a possibility of this happening, then measures will be taken against it. Everyone is saying that quantum computers are a big threat to Bitcoin and if quantum computers come to the market right now, they can easily break the Bitcoin blockchain network. But the Bitcoin network is designed in such a way that it can change over time and when something threatens Bitcoin, the Bitcoin code can be taken to a more advanced level to deal with all those dangers.

So recently Vitalik Buterin
 posted on his X profile a higly technical discussion. Although I'm a technical guy I have atleast a gist of it.

I'm making this short and understandable -

Super Computer/Quantam Computer has the ability to break current Blockchain /Wallet security but still it's too much energy consuming and hard part cause not available for everyone.

But AI could be a different show here, he explains it with a human brain.

There was a time when factoring was a time consuming thing [2^(n/2)]

But over decades our human brain , some smart people found a technique to eliminate the huge number of possibilities at once which is [2^O(n^(1/3))]

The security concern in exactly lying here , what if our AI became so smart and found a completely diff technique and formula so which can take normal computer in 2²⁵⁶ to a couple of hours.

At this point we have a more dangerous threat than Super Computer's. AI is a blessing at the same time it can be a greates threat.

Are you trying to say AI can evolve to carry out quantum level operations? Well, I don't think that is realistic—at least not this present day AIs and technology. AI is limited to the host server, the data fed to it, and the prompt. Even though AIs can carry out self-learning, it can't go beyond it's limitations.

If the root technology it operates with(on) can't process things that fast, trust me, there is nothing the AI can do to go beyond that. If the data fed to it doesn't contain XYZ, trust me, AI cannot do XYZ. It can connect data, carry out a good reasoning based on the resources and prompt given, but it can't start carrying out quantum level operations when it doesn't have the machinery and data for it no matter how much it learns.

One thing with all these developers is that they are trying to make a significant impact or rather create more influence to the public by drawing attention to what ever they are saying, we all know that they have their individual project and the kind of target the aimed at making it a successful one, the is also a brand influence and other motivations they would derived from the public when the try to analyze some certain conditions that has to do with bitcoin network, but I wouldn't rely only on what people like this may see don't make my advanced research to know more on what is ahead.

A concrete action plan would be to perform the testing of post quantum signature schemes well ahead of their time of urgency. However, Bitcoin's problem would not be the discovery of a more powerful algorithm only its effect on the size of transactions. Transaction charges. And verification costs. AI is not a threat to bitcoin network, I may not see much about other cryptocurrencies, but had it been AI stand to be a threat, the meaning of lose hope on bitcoin and seek in for alternative, but the more they keep talking about quantum computers and the threat they are possibly going to have on Bitcoin, the harder it becomes to see this come to a reality because of how secured bitcoin network is.

Supercomputer like quantum computers actually are a possible threat to bitcoin since it can through your public keys make an estimate computation of your private keys, and probably be correct.
But the good thing is that we're not facing that threat right now as it's gonna take more than a decade to get such supercomputers to perfection, which by then the bitcoin network would have being more developed and equipped to resist such threat. But can't say for sure about altcoins because am beginning to think that they would be the first easily hit targets when that time come.

Even when it comes to the of ai, there limit to what it can do, and I don't see the reason why people need to be scared because I don't see it as a threat, so people should be calm because if it should become a threat am sure that the authorities are going to do something about it because when it becomes a threat, then it becomes a problem, and whichever threat that might be presented they will would find a way to neutralize it.
