There is no separate testnet: the chain that starts on Sunday is the real one, and what you mine stays yours.
What is NACRE?NACRE is a proof-of-work chain merge-mined with Pearl (AuxPoW). If you mine Pearl with a GPU, you can mine NACRE at the same time, with the same work and no extra hashrate. The node is a fork of the Pearl node code (via modelOS), with its own chain, its own genesis and its own coin.

Development fund (stated upfront)Each block pays 9.7 NACR to miners and 0.3 NACR (3%) to a development fund, only until block 1,050,000 (the first halving). Total: 315,000 NACR, which is 1.5% of the max supply. It is enforced by consensus and visible on the explorer.

A fair start, verifiable by anyone- Genesis hash: c5278d8488065a9bb4c89cc1dc8b574a5436eef3a98710297f6959dd3f5ca260
- The genesis message cites Bitcoin block 970614 (hash 00000000000000000000028726cff750bbea231df05df48a4985b64ba01e0dd8), so it was built after that block.
- The genesis timestamp is 16:05 UTC and the node refuses blocks more than 5 minutes ahead of the clock. Block 1 cannot be mined before 16:00 UTC. We tested this on a local chain with the same rules.
- The pool accepts connections before the start and sends work at 16:00 UTC, so nobody needs to be fast.
Code review notesWhile preparing the launch we removed a rule inherited from modelOS that let a fixed key create coins from nothing (inferencego_tx) and the inherited checkpoints. The supply is the schedule above, nothing else. Source and commits are public: please review them, especially the AuxPoW part.
Pool and payoutsThe pool pays shared rewards (PPLNS), directly in the coinbase of each block: every miner of the recent window gets an output, there is no pool wallet that holds your coins. The pool address is pool.nacre.network:3333.
How to mineCreate an address in the web wallet (
https://nacre.network/wallet/), then point a Pearl-compatible miner (for example SRBMiner, pearlhash algorithm) at the pool, using your NACRE address as the wallet:
