Online based roulette and physical wheel roulette which more transparent?

I would trust more to online based roulette no matter that is sound strange. I believe that is is harder (but not impossible) to have such roulette rigged and to make gambler lose at exact moment that casino need. On the contrary I have heard different stories about cheating with physical roulette. Starting from dealer «knowing» how to spin the ball correctly, to stories that roulette table was installed with slight angle, not visible for eyes, that makes ball fall on selected sectors. In online roulette there are much more number of round running that allows casino to earn well even without cheating.

Sorry to draw your attention for those who who deal on live roulette on the physical wheel roulette, and those who play roulette online which is more transparent?
The reason why I draw this discussion is because, I am having this feeling that physical wheel roulette is more transparent because the online roulette which being coded with some data without one possibly know how transparent it's could be hard for someone to win while gambling. Realistically, I am a fan of sports betting but somehow beginning to find interest in roulette. So, I would want to hear from those who has made used of the both physical wheel and online wheel which is more reliable for winning?

I am also having this thought in my mind, but I think both can be manipulated because even in physical games, those experts can manipulate things just to make many. Therefore, for that of online roulette, I think it is based on code, I can believe that it can be manipulated even though the platforms will not want to stain their reputation, but there is a high possibility that they can be transparent but they can’t do what will not favor them because they open the platform to make money; so they will do their best to give customers chance by being transparent, but when it becomes a very huge win, it can be manipulated.
For me, I will prefer that of online platforms, but I will just limit it and know how to play them.

Every gambler has their opinion on this and it also comes from a place of preference. In my opinion both can be transparent depending on the casino. Online based roulette can be manipulated and so can physical wheel roulette as well, this is why I said that it's all dependent on the casino. Online based roulette is more preferable to me because you can verify if the games are provably fair by yourself.


It's logical to believe that physical wheel roulette is more transparent because you can see everything that happens but the mechanics of the wheel can be tampered with thereby altering or affecting the outcomes to favour the casino. I cannot say for a fact that one is more profitable than the other or have any guarantees that you can with more from either of them as they are both a game of luck.

I will choose the physical roulette, which is more transparent  compared to the online version. You can observe everything that is happening the wheel, the dealer, the ball, and the role of gravity. There is a slight possibility of bias from the dealer at times, but when you compare it to the online version, where you cannot see what is happening behind the scenes, the results are based on algorithms. Some sites claim that you can verify these results but honestly, you can't. For those who are far away the online option is the best choice, for those near a casino, they can go for the physical. However, the house edge is always present no matter how much  transparency there is, the casino will still make its profits.

I believe one of the things players need to realize is that even if you find a "fair" roulette game, that doesn't mean you will have a better opportunity of winning. Sometimes, individuals are hopping from one casino to another or experimenting with different varieties of roulette,  since they think that one of them may be more beneficial to them, however they don't know that what will happen on each spin is still uncertain.

I don't care if the wheel is physical or online to me, I just believe that knowing the chances of winning is actually the most important thing.  It's best not to assume that a specific form of roulette is more likely to provide you with better results. So just enjoy the game for the moment and if the game keeps taking more than you're actually winning then that's a sign that you should quit for the day.

I mean obviously the real one would be more transparent as you would be physically present and have the ability to see it and examine with your own eyes. The coded one is where you dont see all the code and if you did you have to go the extra mile

To me, the online one seems more transparent, because as far as I know, the roulette game is under the rule of probability fair. And an RNG is generated in each spin of the game and you can verify your result if you want. But in the offline case, I heard that the results can be different because the balls are bigger or smaller, also depends on the material of the ball.. I don't know how accurate it is. I think I read about this somewhere in the forum. Considering that from that point of view, there is no opportunity to verify there. But there is that online.
