Those usually come with very strict rules. If you're expecting to just get a signup bonus as soon as you deposit a small amount which you can then directly withdraw then I'm not aware of any..not even the big exchanges offer that. Could you share some offers you have seen? Just to have an idea about what you're looking for.

A few months ago, a similar topic was created here, and a member shared how he was utilizing these events and making money. It's not only about depositing and making money, as these exchanges also reward you if you generate the required trading volume.

But I can't find that topic or the member anymore. I hope that when he sees this thread, he will share it again. I don't know about any ongoing events on under-the-radar exchanges, but maybe you should join airdrop and ICO-related Telegram channels.

Information about new listings can also help you because new listings always bring new competitions that can include generating X trading volume or depositing funds for an X period. You can earn from that, but I wouldn't advise you to risk your money on Tier 2 or Tier 3 exchanges. Trust only the big ones because if anything like what happened with Bitget happens with another exchange, the loss can be big.

And I have noticed that when users deposit funds on their exchange platforms, what these services give back to them in the form of bonuses is only their shit vouchers, not any real-time crypto amount (according to my experience). These bonus vouchers can only be used to save on trading fees if you are the one who trades more often or on a regular basis. Now, I try my best to ignore such notifications whenever I receive them.

Aside from this, some exchanges also offer ways to earn money. But this thing is totally separate. You can earn using their affiliate programs. DYOR!

The first comment gave a straight up valid point, any exchange that advertises a bonus does not easily make it withdrawal after you make a deposit, there are conditions attached to most of those bonus and if you don't meet the conditions, it will expire on you. For example, there was this new exchange I saw and they made mention of $50 bonus upon registration and I hopped on it but later abandoned it because they asked for KYC and at that point I just know that other things could be involved. I have tried another one that says $20 bonus and passed all their requirement but the bonus was not withdrawal, I have to use it for trading and I don't trade. Most of the exchanges I know does not easily give you a cash reward that you can withdraw without meeting some difficult requirement. At times they will ask you to deposit up to a certain high amount of money before you can get such reward.

The only bonus that I have gotten before on exchanges was a rebate. It happened in a way that the exchange can give you $10 rebate, which means as you are trading, they will be giving you the bonus gradually until it is $10. All other exchanges will promise bonuses, but they are in a way that they are different to achieve.

If you're interested in something like this, I've seen them in subreddits like r/beermoney--make use of the search bar to narrow down results. Check with the actual exchange about the promo.

Always try to exercise caution though. Scammers are always looming in the dark lol.
Read the whole terms and conditions, you wouldn't wanna do all the tasks only to get surprised that you didn't qualify.
Lastly, ask yourself if the reward is worth it for what they're asking from you.

Recently I noticed that the bonuses advertised by exchanges doesn't always tell the full story. Some of them require KYC while for others, you have to trade to a their minimum volume before you can withdraw the reward. There are also some of them that the bonus is just a trading credit not funds you can transfer out, so before jumping on their promotional offers, always check their withdrawal conditions and also make findings about their trustworthiness.

If true... there are several exchanges that offer this kind, but it will not be easy to get a big bonus because the requirements are usually high, starting from the specified trading volume including spot/futures.

Even many people do not look for this kind of bonus, because it is difficult to conquer.

Rewards from exchanges come with a catch. The rules for getting the reward will be strict, and not all users will be willing to do the task to get those rewards.

Ordinary signup bonuses are usually peanuts.

There are campaigns with generous bonuses but they run a very limited amount of time so you have to keep an eye on the announcements from big exchanges. Besides, they usually target specific regions or have additional requirements.

For example, not long ago OKX, after securing MiCA license, ran a very fat deposit bonus campaign for EU/EEA residents without any strict requirements. It ended very quickly as they ran out of the funds allocated to it (didn't expect that many signups, I reckon).

OP, almost every exchange provide incentive programmes and activities to their customers but  they will always require task completion and you have to join to participate. Some could be Airdrop but trust me, they are most likely dust.

i didn't even know exchanges gives  bonuses for depositing on their platform, I'm not talking about their worthless tokens as bonus but valuable crypto like BTC. The only platforms I knew do this are casinos and they have their requirements before you can get the bonus. Be careful of free things especially in this space. Why need bonuses when you can trade and make money yourself beside bonuses always have their catches to it. You can as well hodl your coins and gain through price appreciation than having to deposit them on CEX that they use your coins for revenues generation and give you peanuts as bonus for holding your coins on their platforms. Better you take the risk to trade yourself the market then keep 100% of the profits than to settle for peanuts  from the exchange  or platforms be it in reward or bonus.

This is true OP, and in addition. How much are you willing to deposit OP? because with a 5 USDT bonus deposit, you're even required to trade for some amount. The exchanges are not willing to give easy money to anybody. It's the reason why even if they keep on notifying me on my email, I am ignoring all of the exchanges where I have an account because what they want us to do is to deposit more, trade and lose.

I would personally advice you against this. Any broker/exchange offering bonuses for your deposits should never be trusted. Yes, you heard that from me. You might get away with it, but I am certain that they are operating more of B-book for them to be able to do that. Plus, it might come with some unfriendly and unfavorable conditions. Your own money is your true power and freedom, but also ensure you deal with trusted and top-rated exchanges only.

However, let's jump on the top..... Well, no exchange is stupid enough to give you free bonuses that you can withdrawal. All of them have a one goal to keep engaged you on their platform. Every exchange offer different tfpe of bonuses lie some of them offered trading bonuses, welcome bonuses, welcome bonuses, deposit bonus, trading fee bonus etc. These are basically used as a way to provide certain service. So you cannot withdrawal it.....

I have only received the trading fee bonus like I mainly trade futures the exchange occasionally gives me a perpetual trading fee as  bonus which I can use only for trading fees like position fee not for withdrawals.

So these all bonuses are just for users to engaged him on platform.

Yep, it's always future trading voucher and the only thing you can withdraw is the profit from your trading, sometime you're only getting fee deduction voucher that's close to useless and if we are signing up to a low tier exchange, the bonus can be a fake promo where they will only credit to your account after a long complain to their customer service.

These sign up bonus aren't worth it, more specifically on lower tier exchange. The promo is only there there to get you and others to deposit and later on freeze your account or demand for further verification to be able to withdraw your funds. After all, lower tier exchange consider frozen account's balance as part of their profit.

I have not seen except for a trading competition where you either trades on specific market such future market on Bybit and Binance exchange. I kept receiving some messages from this exchanges but is not like a signup bonus.
No old exchange offering that currently, except for newly launched exchange that are looking for a way to advertised their trading platform.

Not only close to useless, but I'd say it would be better to say that they are totally useless for a kind of person who doesn't trade much. You can take me as an example here. I honestly try my best to stay away as much as I can from the trading space. And when it comes to futures trading, I am the kind of person who has never taken even a single trade in the futures section since the day I jumped into the crypto space. These are exchanges' marketing strategies to attract more users by showing them a kind of reward.

And those who are stupid and understand less about how this system works fall prey to these traps.
And these days, if you focus more on this matter, you will realize that not only low-tier exchanges are doing these kinds of shit; even well-known exchanges are also doing this to grow their own business. And there is no doubt; I agree with you here: custodial platforms can freeze anyone's funds with or without any major reason. Then, in return, what authority do we have to release our funds back from their custody?

The rules must be stricter now than the rules to claim such bonuses from before because exchanges now know that people are even more aware about cryptocurrency than they used to be.

I believe that earlier on, exchanges would have had lesser rules that made it easier and more possible for people to easily claim these bonuses when offered because exchanges were in the competition to attract and keep the new individuals who just picked an interest in cryptocurrency, not anymore. Now even when offered, you must fulfil explicit conditions to be able to claim these bonuses.
